Let's not forget in recent memory, a team won 67 games and lost in the first round. You gotta get it done in the "second season".
GKFv2 @ 12/9/2008 11:22 PM
Hopefully it's not LeBron's year. Let's go Celtics!(this kills me)
Panos @ 12/9/2008 11:41 PM
Yeah, Sure, Lebron wants to leave Cleveland and rebuild in NY. Ok.

that team is all Lebron. if he was here we'd be 18-3 and the Cavs would be lucky to have 5 wins.

I don't agree. The defense of Delonte West, Ben Wallace & Big Z have been phenomonal. Not to mention the acquistion of Mo Williams. Lebron is doing less this year (ONLY averaging 26ppg) and the team is better than ever. I hate to say it but the Cavs have a chance to go all the way this yr.

you would be saying:

The defense of Chandler, Duhan and Lee have been phenomonal. Not to mention the aquisition of Duhan.

agreed Elite... there's no one on that Cavs team that's so head & shoulders above what we have on this roster... Mo Williams is a good scorer but isn't the facilitator of that offense, it's Lebron... Delonte West is not better than Nate either IMO... Big Z & Big Ben's shotblocking provides something we don't have but they're also not putting up the rebounding that Lee is or the offense that Harrington's been putting up for us either... & both Wally Z & Varajao are nothing but minor role players that we can easily match them w/guys like Wilson, Q Rich, Fugazy & Fishlips... if Lebron were on the Knicks right now instead of the Cavs, we'd be talking about the Knicks being the legitimate contendors right about now.

we just need to figure out how to dump Curry's contract & try to get some value for either Lee or Nate in a trade in the form of a 1st round pick, & then if u add that w/whoever we pick up in the draft this year w/our pick u can easily attract a top FA in 2010 to want to come here, especially if they keep playing this team oriented style of basketball that MDA has them doing right now w/multiple players excelling in their roles.
