rush limbaugh said over the weekend he hopes oboma's presidency fails. first of all, how unamerican is that statement, hoping the president fails. i hated bush but i did not want this country to go into the crapper. second, it solidifies how racist he is. his comments about mcnabb a few years ago to go along with saying oboma is getting a pass because of skin color is too far. this person needs to get kicked in the face.

Sounds just like a small handful of "Knicks" fans. Wanting the regime to fail so they can get on a soapbox and feel good about themselves while they "Told you so!".

Meh......I'm not an Obama fan but he is our President and I hope he can clean up this mess we're in. Just like with our Knicks though it will take time and to be honest in politics even when you do everything right you don't see the results until your term is just about ending and by then everyone has blamed YOU even though everything you did is just about to come to light while the next guy is in office.

Obama winning empowered Limpbaugh following that will point to any and all failures of this administration. The Limp ditto heads feel the media made Bush ineffective and feel they should have the same rights.

The Limp ditto heads did not win, are not in power and are not used to being in minority.

Its more important that Obama establish his power and make progress. Restore confidence is paramount.

In absence of a figurehead for the party Rush is now its mascot.

That itself speaks volumne for the Rebuplican party at the moment.

Good post.

[kayslay] DAMN! [/Kayslay]

What did I tell you...Steele is finished. Even Republicans on lame ass morning shows are showing Steele not an iota of respect.

I think the point we are trying to make is this: right now the Republican Party is in disarray and many Republicans are looking towards Rush Limbaugh for political advice. So to dismiss him as just an entertainer is unwise particularly for Republican leadership. In response to your question, I'll grant you that there was no clear and concise leader in Democratic leadership but one thing was for certain it sure as hell wasn't a radio talk show host and I'm sorry to further disappoint but it wasn't Oprah either.

The only people that I have heard saying that Limbough is the leader of the Republican party are Democrats. Are Republicans devoid of the right to choose their own leaders now? Is that now the role of the talking heads on CNN? How are you able to say that before Obama the Democrats had no leader (sonething that seems normal to me for a party without a sitting president) but then try to tell me that a racist drug addict is now the head of the party that best represents people like me?
