Anybody here following Fringe? I am a big X-Files fan and this show IMHO is getting up there really quick. Every episode has a "Holy Sheet!" moment in the opening scenes.
Last night was insane with a man mutating into a monster in the plane. Losing his teeth and spikes coming out of his back was both hard to watch and fun.
I miss Scully.
I was a little skeptical with having Pacey being the lead guy but the cast works really well.
Dr. Walter Bishop is the bomb. He has great one-liners. "I never seen a feature like this before - it warms your ass. Its wonderful. Have you tried it?"
The women are sexy.
Agent Olivia Dunham
Junior Agent Astrid Farnsworth

yeah i watch it. had the episode on dvr so thanks for spoiling it for me.
kidding aside, at first i was apprehensive and then it added other elements that made it compelling ( like the pale man's involvement and the blatant use of science as terrorism and why). this is not one of my must watch shows but it is climbing. however, it will have a hard time leap frogging the likes of heroes, which had a brilliant opening of the second half season, lost, and 24, which seems to be back on track. you are right about the cold opening in fringe, though. you know someone is going to die but it is interesting to see how because it is done creatively. like a nightmare on elm street killing except it is supposedly in real time.
I watch Fringe in HD then watch 24 and Heroes online.
Sorry about the spoiler. I'll try not to that again.
About the Pale man. I am now obsessed in trying to find him in every episode. He is always in the background when something is about to go down.
what do you think about Eleventh Hour? Now that's a hot co-star and a little bit less out there.
I like Eleventh Hour as well and the agent is hot as heck. She runs a little funny though
It is a little bit out there but when I watch a SciFi program, I want it to shock me and makes me think "What if?". It is afterall entertainment and if I wanted more realistic stuff then I will watch Law and Order or CSI. I never get a chance to watch it regularly though as I am in a bball league that plays thursday nights and CBS does not air it online.
I dunno what the hell a fringe is, but I'm all over that junior agent, chief. Looks like she's got a fatty too

Here is the pic of Agent Rachel Young
Very Happy with the Fringe season and the season finale did not disappoint. Leonard Nimoy as William Bell was awesome.
i just saw the finale for fringe and it was great. some shocking revelations the last ten minutes that would propel this series into interesting ground next season. this is a show, like tru blood, that i did not really like in the beginning then it got markedly better. the characters are what makes this show from agent francis to walter. they are all charismatic and engaging. my favorite is peter with his dead pan delivery, sarcasm and calm demeanor. great series.
Definite hottie.
Can't wait until season 2.
just watched the finale. so basically peter died in one reality and then walter went into the other one and brought him back.
now we have 2 realities/universes. and there's a war coming...but from whom?
and it looks like they are going the route of genetically created superheroes.
and agent dunham is like a cross between kate winslet and kelly lynch.
Anybody catch the premiere last week? They 2 holy $hit moments in the beginning. They also made a couple of homage to X-Files. In one scene, the TV shows Mulder and on the meeting with the committee they mentioned X division or Fringe division. It was awesome.
The way Dunham came back was also pretty cool.
Astrid is a funny name!! HAHAHAHA
i have given up on the show...it's going nowhere.
I guess you could say it's on the fringe
btw, for those that do watch it - it seems in every episode, you see the bald guy. it could be a background scene or something not obvious but he's there in each show.
well, i thought the season is good. it is interesting though i am upset that *spoiler alert* they killed charlie. like his character. it is an interesting twist with the bald guy suddenly setting up to be the villain instead of the one helping. we will see where this goes. and djsync, you are hard to please with these shows. you went sour on true blood and now this. what sci fi drama show do you like? you think lost sucks too? lol

lol...i actually am a huge fan of lost...they set the bar high...
i thought the 2nd season of true blood was great up until after godric was killed...then it seemed like they rushed it together at the end...but i still thought it was a decent season.
fringe i gave a real shot but i joshua jackson's one liners and dropping the whole william bell thing conveniently with olivia losing her memory (sort of) made me give up. no need to go on those missions about weird stuff happening anymore, that was getting boring. they need to start going into why it's happening and what william bell was really up to.
