He is retiring from basketball. He needs aKidney transplant and it was just announced on ESPN radio by Thorn. There is a nationwide search for a matching Kidney.

Wow....that is too bad. I bet KMart feels pretty silly right now for the comments he made.

Yeah K-mart was pretty tasteless in his comments.

It is sad to see what happened to Mourning, and the Nets may have needed Dikembe afterall? They did fine without him last year though...they should have gone after Nesterovic or Olowakandi. That would have improved the team, I never really understood why they gambled on Mourning....much like I dont understand why the Knicks traded for McDyess.

I feel bad for Zo, but I have no compassion for the Nets at all. All the yappin' I had to hear from Nets fans and all they said abaout Deke.

Now the Nets can crash and Burn.

Don't look now...but the "eastern elite" nets arent doing so hot this season. I am with you hardcore...I have no compassion for that team.

yeah, looks like the nets have egg in their face. they kind of downgraded from last year to be honest. major blow for them. major blow. the east is definately up for grabs unless the hornets and pacers are playing for real.

as far as mourning goes, i will definately feel for him. i am the rare knick fan that actually liked him. he was a warrior who gave his all out there. i think he deserves a championship as much as anyone else. sometimes life is unfair.
