For those who dont know, the BNP is a "so-called" political party in the UK. Their policies are all entirely racist. Their stated goals are to return the UK to 99% "indigenous white" population by throwing everyone else out. Blacks, jews, asians, muslims, all of them. They deny the holocaust, and do not allow blacks to become members of their party. He has given speeches in the US together with the head of the KKK. Incidentally, they won two seats on the European Parliament last year, perhaps unsurprisingly. Their head, Nick Griffin was asked on to the premier political TV show in the UK, Question Time, which drew massive protests outside BBC studios around the country.
Joining him were Justice Secretary Jack Straw; the Conservative spokeswoman for community cohesion, Baroness Warsi (Muslim); Chris Huhne, Liberal Democrat Home Affairs spokesman; and playwright and author, Bonnie Greer (Black American)
He got his ass kicked, which makes for wonderful viewing. Enjoy.
Im interested to know from you guys if you think he should have been allowed on at all. Does his being on the top political show give him legitimacy, or is it undemocratic not to allow such views to be heard?
the libdems should finally be elected to run uk. all the tories have are retreads, same goes with labour.

I can't speak for the UK nor its politics but in the U.S. Free speach is granted and while many bad ideas do float the democracy generally works for the greater good.
It is flawed, as are all forms of governments but Its my opinion its best to protect free speach. We have hate laws to protect.
Our country is a melting pot and while we have "white groups" who forget what out country's founding principles really are, we really are very unique in the world.
In the UK you have a majority of "British" and like most nations you have a majority indiginous to that country. "French" in France, "Germans" in Germany etc etc. During economic struggles most countries get "nationalistic" in its tendancies and want to "take back" their country thinking that solves their problems. Usually these are the low end of the society, similar to our idiotic "white" groups usually consist of "white trailer trash" who are lazy and think they are entittled to the spoils of a nation.
I don't have the time to watch the above clips of this fool but its the same old same old crap.

he's a very bad man but i agree with nalod that we need to protect free speech at all costs. i think that ideas like this, when put under light, unravel and ultimetaly destroy themselves. having mr. griffin on that show will likely serve to undermine his twisted ideology.
