hey metra. Andrew and I do ban folks every once in a while, and that conversation is always between us and that particular user. Not sure why you feel that this should be reality show'esque; we definitely don't feel the need or necessity to keep everyone up to date on those types of particulars.
Also not sure why this site or any others would be referred to as a "f***ing internet forum"; this site is a hobby for the both of us and we spend good coin and our own time to develop and share with everyone else. You didn't think this was free for us or any other company did you? Not sure you realize what goes into a site like this: monthly hosting fees, an engine dev'ed by Andrew that grabs articles and blogs from lots of different places and makes them pretty and easy to read on our front page, another engine that grabs NBA scores, forums that had input from our users, etc.
We have a pretty simple theme with regards to mod'ing and banning: keep it simple for us, we really have little time or want to mod. That's all.

Martin, I'm angry at you for feeling that you even had to defend yourself. You and Andrew run a great site that provides hours of entertainment for all of us, and outside of resetting my post count this place is perfect.

I rarely like to make negative comments about fellow posters like this. I'm sure I have but I try to avoid it as much as I can. However, coolbeans didn't really seem to add much to the forum. I'm sure it wasn't a big deal to Martin and Andrew to suspend his account.
GKF is different b/c he had a lot of potential. He is just kind of immature at times and needs to tone it down and stop lashing out like crazy at certain times. He's cool as heck, but hopefully he can learn from this and come back sometime sooner than later as a better person/poster.
Cosmic, we all love you, but that was a very dumb statement. It's a stereotype and jimimou and any other Greek on this site have every right to be offended. See the situation from their perspective. It's an ignorant stereotype and it's not needed. Not every Greek is volatile as you say and I'm sure even most aren't. And I've met Jimi a couple of times and he never struck me as that either, so I think an apology is in order.
With that said, I'm exhausted as hell and didn't even realize I was only on page one of five and did not even read the other four pages, so if the other issues I already mentioned were settled, then I'm sorry.
