Bullshit he's getting his skin lightened because steroids didn't affect his skin during his playing career nor do steroids explain the reptilian eyes and dark and lovely perm.

I'm telling you people the roids story is nonsense. The obsession with lighter skin has been a dirty secret within afro-latino, afro-american, communities for years. They have all kinds of creams to lighten your skin and to permanently dye your eye color. The whole steroid theory came from some Sports website which I would hardly call a legitimate source of science and medicine.

Yeah thats definitely not roids, lol. It even looks like he's got light contacts in his eyes--- damn.I dont know why anybody is even buying the roids angle. Bleaching is not that uncommon in Africa, the Caribbean, and here in the states.

That has to be the roids. If he was doing it on purpose why wouldn't have done it while he played when he was actually famous and people cared about him. Right now now one can give two shits, so why worry about bleaching yourself? He looks absolutely ridiculous.

I've read a about a lot of crap that roids do to your body and I believe a lot of it. Deterioration of your bones, bad for your liver, heart, ect.. I've never heard of something like ths though with steroids though. Flat out weird.

i heard something on the radio about this today. you might be right. its probably not steroids. they are saying he just wanted to slightly lighten himself but he came out looking like that!

I am married to a Dominican woman and she said that a lot of Dominicans are obsessed with being light skinned. I don't know if this is true or not since she is light skinned, blonde with green eyes.
