Do any of y'all use OpenDNS or the new google P-DNS & have you noticed any speed increases in your internet browsing experience?

i just signed up for OpenDNS & can't really tell if it's faster or not but seems, but i like the fact that it filters out the known phishing sites

if you hit the same pages, there wont be much notice as the hostname has already been cached local. if you have a sucky inet AND hit many diff sites, this is a decent offering. if you dont, some of the secondary services may be useful still. what do the logs/stats show? if you are hittin pr0n it could be a $$$ tool to nail yer kids or you could get nailed by your old lady...

nah, no worries about no kids or ladies tracking my usage on my laptop.

right now i'm only getting 1.61 Mbps on downloads but i have crappy DSL & running via WiFi... are there different stats i should be looking at? i'm really just a novice when it comes to networking issues.

Open DNS is great if your ISP has alot of DNS issues.
