Hassan Whiteside... Hassan Whiteside...
... slowly I turned, step by step...
How did we not give this kid a chance to showcase his talent? He is doing very well in Miami; I bet you Riley will find a way to turn this kid into a star. He will become Alonzo's pet project.
Before we draft a big like Okafor or else, I pray that Phil recognizes how important it is to hire a big man coach like perhaps Ewing or Lew Alcindor to guide that young big

Ewing or Lew Alcindor?
What makes you think that Ewing is a good big mans coach?

He spent years working with the likes of: Howard, Kwame, Al Jefferson, and others.....
I don't really care about him, but I do believe it is time for the Knicks to offer Ewing a position with the team.

why?
Do we need another Herb built into the bench?
Hire on value not nepotism.
Give me Hakeem as a big mans coach. Ewing? Not so much.
Hakim will not come to NY. Our best bet is Lew Alcindor; he is a New Yorker, and worked with Phil in the past

I say we let Phil make that the decision. You can send him your ideas via twitter though
Horace Grant anyone?

I read that he will soon be hired by the Knicks. I don't know how he can help our bigs

force feed triangle
I won't object to such a hire. Horrace played with both Jordan and Kobe; and he played an intricate roll within the triangle. Thus, I am sure his expertise will be very valuable.
We need a shooting coach as well. Who will that be? The best shooter to play within the triangle system is Kerr, but he is off limit to us:))
BRIGGS - BJ Mullens is another one of your highly touted college players back in the day. Do you think we should bing him back from China? He seems like a good C for the triangle.
EDIT: Hmmmm....he got cut back in Oct. http://basketballbuddha.com/shanxi-brave...

Yep that was a poor pick.

How about Jeremy Lin? You were the one that got me watching him when you were touting him back in college. I have been following him even before Linsanity. I am very biased on my assessment with him. How about you? What is your assessment of JLin now?

Great pick--how many undrafted players come even close to what J Lin has done in the NBA?
