Now this is what we've all been waiting for... 2010 delivered, New York got it's perennial basketball all-star guard... how excited are you ?

You better enjoy this, cause that might be the only bball star to play at the Garden in a New York uniform

I know it was meant as a gag post sort of but it is a big deal. The random games that I watch, she is pretty good. Not bad at all.

at least one NY b-ball squad is out there trying to make power moves.

Cappy is one of the baddest guards the wnba has to offer.....the libs got thrown a bone to spark interest. I might actually go to a game cuz of Cappy

She went to Rutgers too. Probably around the time of Don Imus' faux pas.

How come she was traded if she's so good ? I'm asking cause I'm not following the WNBA.

Money. Mercury while doing decent at the gates have to constantly juggle their roster to remain solvent for their salary cap. I think she wants more and they are willing to pay her.

the liberty also traded their first pick this year for a benchwarmer..the pick ended up being the #1 pick in the wnba draft..sound familiar knick fans..she's the 6'4" center from undefeated uconn

I used to call Cappy's games at Rutgers (shut up- we had to call women's games if we were to get to call any mens games)- she was one of the best women's players I have ever seen. Basically the Jason Kidd of Women's college bball at the time. She is a true floor general and was a pleasure to watch.

The thing about the women's game right now is that for true basketball aficionados there is some good basketball being played in the women's game. The women's game is growing like crazy even when I graduated back in 04 there is a tremendous difference in the athleticism and skill level.
