Mindaugas Kuzminskas has announced that he’ll try his luck in this year’s NBA draft, just like another Lithuanian talent Donatas Motiejunas has done earlier.

None of the NBA mock drafts include the 20-year-old Lithuanian among the possible draft picks, but Kuzminskas seems interest the New York Knicks, whose vice president for basketball operations Glen Grunwald and international scout Kevin Wilson came to watch the 205 centimeter forward play in the Lithuanian League (LKL) recently. This was already their second visit to see the leader of Siauliai.

This season has been very successful for the young Lithuanian, who is averaging 17,5 points, grabbing 6 rebounds and dishing out 2,2 assists per game in the LKL and became the MVP of the league's All-Star game.

Kuzminskas can still withdraw his name until June 14 and still be eligible for next year draft. It is rumored that the player might be trying to gain more attention by announcing himself available for the draft and pulling out later in order to get more hype for next year.

id pick him and then do a ginobili route with him. Make him come here in 4-5 years when he is ready. Not bad with a secondround pick

Kevin Wilson has been on the job for a good while now. I think he's done good work for this team.
