Why would they have to rush.. is this all for the show so James can say he is definitely going to Miami? What if they can't move Beasley?
Tommy Dee is not a source. Things are getting real now. Let's eliminate him from future discussions.

he can only be 1 of the best of alltime if he comes to the Knicks?
No if he was the leader of a team if he stayed in Cleavland or even went to Chicago or Ny, Miami is Wade's team
Kareem was the 1 of the best ever, but the Lakers were Magic's team... ARod is 1 of the best ever but the Yankees are Jeter's team... i don't think u have to be the man on your team to build a legacy as 1 of the best of alltime.

to the nbdl? im starting to give up the knicks luck is gonna change... this is like the flipping 94 finals. sooooo close.
you would have to figure we're about damn DUE for some good luck for a change, no???

I can't support this coward.
He is like the kids in my schools who root for the good, non-NY teams in certain sports so they can back a winner. God, I get sick when I hear kids say "my Lakers," or "my Patriots."
If he goes to Miami he is just showing that he is, as you say above, a coward.

the mia trade? he was 1 of 2. if it is indeed wade/bosh/lbj, it will be interesting how the egos play out.

Ehh. He is doing the same things everyone here is doing, and he might have a few friends. You take him with a grain of salt.
Do the Heat have to dump Beasley for James to come on?

That's my question. What if no one obliges? Are they really going to take less money?
Even that fool Bosh, who was bitching about not getting the max 6 year? I still have to
see it to believe it.

still a chance this is all crap.
it does stink if true cuz that makes the east rough like the west. puts the knicks into a bind if they cant ratchet up the talent in this arms race. i dont wanna just be a 6-8 seed, dont wanna just be fun to watch. we didnt cut coupons and save and all to end up being a middling team again in terms of winning.
This isn't tampering? Wade was recruting Lebron and Bosh before the start of free agency it's a joke. All along they knew what was gonna happen and played everyone.

DO OVER, like howard+mia+wash!!! if stern does nothing, then he sees $$$ dancing in his head of this "merger".
So the ESPN radio update reports the Broussard stuff about James going to Miami, then mentions the split in his camp, saying that his good friend Chris Paul thinks he should stay in Cleveland and give Scott a chance. The update guy then makes a comment about how things can change before the show tomorrow.
Very blatant BS. Some at ESPN must be very pissed about the leak and what it might mean for their ratings, even as their own people are reporting it. People should definitely boycott the show, although I doubt it will make a difference.
The troubling thing is that NY is not mentioned- his decision just may be between Cleveland and the Heat, with the Knicks not being considered.

that is different.. baseball is stat driven... the yanks are jeters team, but A-rod will win The league MVP's and probably pass bonds as HR king.. in baseball, there are plenty of balls to go around.. LOL... if A-rod hits 50 homers, there is nothing to stop TEx from doing the same thing the same year..
In basketball, there is just 1 ball, if one guy dominates the ball, it will take from someone else.. have you ever seen two elite wing players on the same team who dominate the ball ever win a ring?

throughout this entire past 2 years you've been right there with me in this line of thinking... i'm not gonna be happy settling to become another middling team either, that's just a rehash of the same ol' crap since Ewing left... i wanna be a legitimate contender & there better be some moves in place to get there if we strike out on Lebron.

the gs trade (like it), anthony in 11 (not liking it yet)... the gs potential trade looks better and better if no lbj for sure. i just dont get the anthony angle as the 2011 move right now. the west is rough and minus billups he hasnt lead his team outta round 1. its not like he was playing alone. i dont see him putting this team over. he doesnt seem like the consolation prize to me, nice stats and all, just not seeing him make the team a contender. huge kd fan and even that door seems closed.
if one of the moves is for some broke down clown named gil...
2011 Carmelo or bust, Knicks better save their money I don't give a damn if we tank this season we cannot sign people just to sign them lets try to make deals for Carmelo and Tony Parker or just wait them out.
Carmelo!!!!! and all we need is a better backcourt...Call it denial but damn this just painful...
Carmarshmelo shall be a Knick. It makes too much sense to not happen. Suck it, Denver.
