Scary thing is, he will have a new hot girl tomorrow.
this guy needs some serious help... that's some harsh venom he's spitting out at that chick... she musta done him real dirty, or else he's just plain insane... probably a lot of both
I don't care about this stuff. It has no effect on how great his movies are and how great of an actor he is.

really? when news first broke about his demeanor I had a tough time rewatching Braveheart. Just like when Tom Cruise went off the deepend I had a hard time rewatching films like "the Last Samurai"
I watch those films now because I already purchased them and the cost is sunk. That said, I really would prefer not support their commercial success.
You're right that it doesn't affect how talented he is as an actor. For me though, it affects my consumer habits
I think his ex-lady has a number of items that are eventually going to be leaked.
There's a seen in Braveheart where William Wallace (Mel) somehow bursts into the room of a former ally who betrayed him and uses a skull crusher on him.
She had better watch out. Based on what I have read and heard, he may be close to paying her that kind of visit.
He really does need help.
what a tool this guy has become! i kinda feel bad for him because his ex-gf is turning out to be a cold calculating bitch. she just sits there calmly listening and rarely responding. she knows she has to make him look as bad as possible so that she can take all his money in some kind of a lawsuit. he is obviously a basket case & i bet she has something to do with it.
he should consider a year off, away from society so he doesn't run into anymore people like her. and he should stop taking those crazy pills. i used to like this guy but for the last 5 years he has been out of control.

Gibson has not hurt anyone physically. He's just a little crazy and says some really stupid things out of anger.
I met Mel when they were filming Ransom around the block from my house. He was a real nice guy. Maybe he's drinking again (former alcoholic).
At the end of the day what Mel says doesn't affect me watching him in a movie, new or old. I watch him for his acting and not his world views. That's like me hating Kramer on Seinfeld because of his racist rant years ago.
And as for Cruise, that guy is just a weirdo. Ever since he got involved with Scientology the guy is just weird. And that guy I don't like (but I'll still watch his movies if they're good) because he tries to push his cult "religion" on everyone.

this guy sounds like he's a danger to himself & to anyone around him... this has nothing to do w/appreciating his acting skills or his movies... plenty of drug addicts, felons & other miscreants are some of the best actors out there... but off screen this guy needs to seek some serious professional psychological help before he hurts someone again, or worse.

He's probably drinking then.
Like TMS said, he should seek help. I don't condone that type of behavior from anyone. He should check himself into a rehab and not come out until he's ready.
The man wants his oral sex like a crackhead wants crack--I can see his point.
I'm sorry but I heard this now and laughed like hell.
BTW, these recording seem kinda fake, like he's being set up. I don't doubt he yelled at her but she sounds too laid back and has absolutely no fear of a guy who supposedly punched her. I’m surprised nobody has mentioned that her audio is crystal clear — as if professionally recorded or her voice was added back in later (with edits).
My girlfriend, who really came down on Mel early on when this stuff came out, says the lady in question here is gold digger. Also said that Gibson's $$ paid for a lot of her physical "enhancements." Also paid some big $$ to produce and market her "album," which may have sold less than 200 copies.
Gibson is also facing severe financial problems at this point.
Neither of them will come out of this looking good, but Gibson's fall, added to the other incident over the past few years, are what people will remember most.
I have to question the motives of a person who runs to Radar Online about abuse before the police. That just screams suspicion to me.
I also have to question how a man with 7 children would hurt a woman holding a child and even hurt his own child, as Oksana is accusing. Mel's ex-wife has already come to his defense and there doesn't seem to be any history of spousal abuse from Mel. But I don't know his history so who knows.
The point is he's under investigation because of claims Oksana made against him. I believe they were already proceeding with a divorce and THEN these tapes came out. Maybe some blackmail was involved and Mel didn't believe she had anything on him. I mean at one point she accuses him of beating her while holding a child and all Mel says "Oh, you're angry now, huh?". That doesn't like a response anyone would have to that, whether they did or didn't. It doesn't fit into the conversation. It's just odd. It just seems too flaky to me considering this woman and her past relationship history. Seems like maybe she thought she could Mel's money when she divorced him, then she found out he's going bankrupt and she just took him down for him wasting her time.
I don't know, call me a Mel Gibson homer or whatever, but I choose to go against the grain here and not buy this. Not until I get sufficient evidence otherwise.
It amazes me how the media (and probably the general public) enjoy tearing a man down. Mel didn't help himself at all with these recordings but at the end of the day the media will run with negativity and beat it into the ground until they destroy a career. Anything for a buck, huh?
I read that he sold his NY pad at a big discount and is selling his cali home as well
and moving back to Australia, he is also getting back together with his ex-wife.
Now the Daily News is saying that he is staying...I don't know what his wife did, no excuse for
saying the things he has over the years.
