I look at it this way - Knicks have not be in Playoffs nor finals since 1999 - they didn't even make the Playoffs in nearly a decade - so I can't hate on the Lakers and Kobe for doing what he does since they never face the Knicks in a Finals Series (atleast in my lifetime - born in 1982). I do want to see him top Jordan. I couldn't stand Jordan. Atleast with Kobe he was never a nemesis, but definitely a top 10 player of all top, hell maybe even top 3. We'll see how his career ends, hopefully with more rings than Jordan.

Kobe is
great. He's not the same immature guy he was back when Shaq was in town. He's saying the right things and he's not shy to praise his teammates now - something he didn't do particularily well in his earlier days. He's done well with turning things around since his "raping" days. And I definately agree with Kobe being in the top 3 players of all time.
Much like people appreciate experiencing and seeing Jordan, I'm glad to have witnessed Kobe's career. And the fairly large amount of time I've spent following Kobe and being a fan of his, is something I don't regret having done.
There are so many parallels to Jordan and Kobe, it's almost mindnumbing. People talk about getting their first pair of Jordan shoes, well my very first pair of basketball shoes was Kobe's first shoe with Adidas back in the day. That was some rocking mf'ing shoes!
My brother hates him enough for our entire family. That covers it for me. I've always wondered how can you hate a guy who's dad's name is Jellybean?

Most guys that win a lot become more appealing in their twilight years. This guy is a rapist and an ego maniac that ratted out his teammate. He can play ball but he isn't likeable in my opinion.
