My new favorite jazz club in the city- (outside of the Village Vanguard$$$) is this place, University of the Streets- super old school beautiful room killer sound, and only 10 bucks to get in- good for both sets.
I play gigs every week but I only post the best ones here- I'm really trying to fill this place up because it's great, and I'm afraid it might not stay open if it doesn't get enough people-

yes. we must get together. maybe we can watch a knicks game. break a leg tonight my bro.
BTW We're playing the next Monday (Nov 15) and the one after (Nov 22) as well. Marv and Eny were there tonight - my dream is for Bitty to show up- I'd knit her a Zach Randolph teddy bear if it helped- but I probably have a better chance of getting maced by DJsu for making fun of his Bargani dress.
GREAT show!! i highly recommend anyone with any interest in jazz to go check out buick and his band. really fantastic sound.

i have no doubt about it. from listening to the cuts off of "Roses" and also the crazier shit he does with Whoopie Pie, i know i need to make it out to a gig. buick is legit.
PS: DYStD is building momentum :) new CD, music video, shows, etc. -- coming very soon
Fellas,
I'm playing at University of the Street Tonight (Nov 15) and next week (Nov 22) 8pm and 10pm, same group
