His salary would have gone a long way to adding major pieces to the two stars...

Definitely. The real mistake was passing on Ty Lawson.
Jennings consistently shoots under 40% from the field, jacks up 3's, and for all the ballhandling he does on that team and he still only manages to get around 5 assists. He gets to the basket but doesn't finish well enough.
Not tanking to improve our draft position vis a vis G State and Stephen Curry was the BIGGEST MISTAKE. Winning games with a roster that was known to be turned over and headed out of town. Why? Mistake.
U both are probably right. We should have drafted him, we would be a much better team with him on it, but then we wouldn't have signed Felton and things would be different. Spilled milk.
I wanted Jennings but realistically he would be in Denver right now if we drafted him.
Why we trade Rod Strickland again?
we never should have traded Mark JAx.
Dean Meminger was never starter material.
After the initial shock of Jennings success at the beginning of his rookie year, i have not been impressed. He just reminds me of a poor-man's Iverson/Marbury/Francis type. He has the type of game as them, but not nearly the talent. And as we saw, talent only took those players so far.
I should hit holfresh in the face with a Jennings Jumper...but I won't.
As we see Jennings came back down to Hell

Jennings Jumper would only hit his his backside, instead of his face, and I can't blame you for not doing it.
over the decade, poor selection, no patience without picking the highest ceiling player and stupidity
Artest
Amare
Nene(and keeping him with camby)
McGee
Hibbert
Brook Lopez
for PG's I can understand why they didn't want a marbary 2.0
Holiday
Lawson
were 2 PG's but its not fair, its not ez to develop in New York

You forgot Odom
dont think we ever had the opportunity to get Odom.
Knicks never tanked like Spurs to get Duncan...
but 2 other players are
Bynum
Blatche

Agree, he also would have gone in the Melo trade as someone also mentioned.

Pretty sure he was still on board when we picked. I could be wrong, of course.

no, odom was picked 4th in the draft in 99. we did not have a pick that high. we were good back then.
