Booz and Deng have flat-lined and I am not sure if Noah gets dramatically better offensively unless he completely changes hit shooting technique. Bulls need to upgrade SG and hope Taj gets some offense.

I can see them trading their 2 picks and perhaps a player for either a vet SG or to move up in draft.

martin - seriously - who are they going to get at SG who would make a difference? there is really no one out there they could get who would be a game changer for them.

Gerald Wallace, Kevin Martin, the guy from Sacramento (who had a soph slump) - none of those guys are coming - and those are the types of guys they'd need at that spot.

Jason Richardson. But they got to give up something for him. Maybe they take a flier on JR Smith. Jamal Crawford off the bench? Trade for OJ Mayo?

Sorry man. Richardson came to mind immediately, I knew you were thinking of him. He is done. JR Smith is a knucklehead - come on.

Jamal Crawford? Streaky and unreliable. We know this.

That's why I mentioned Gerald Wallace, K Martin, etc - and those guys are just not gettable now.

crawford's not a bad idea. nick young on the wizards is the kind of irrationally confident 2guard that can catch fire and carry you.

Bulls just need to slide Rose to SG and stop kidding themselves.

Watching Rose attempt to run the offense was a joke.

It's been very bad and the media is doing it's best not to come down hard on him but they see it now. Yeah Rose is young but he's been in 3 straight yrs of playoffs and he's played against very tough defenses(Boston/Cleveland/Miami) he should know by now what it takes to run offense in games separated by a few possessions. He's even been bad on the fast break when he isn't the finisher...that's why I maintain Bulls make Rose better not the other way around

no doubt my list is thin. Bulls got to get creative.

You know why I could care less for HEAT fortunes ?
it isnt about LBJ not choosing our Knicks

Its the low class way its players DUMPED on Heat coach
Erik S. early in season wanted him out, Wade didnt even
support him when HEAT faltered 20-28 games into season.

LBJ of course came on ESPN Tv and also says he chose
HEAT within 48 hrs of show which is a lie, LBJ CAMP
agents mocked the Knicks "interview" presentation and
stated it was among the worst ever presented to the King James.

That is something LBJ agents/reps coulda kept private without
disrespecting our knickerbocker organization.

LBJ mocked the Cleveland owner and dis'sed the owner
LBJ had right to leave CAVs he earned it & did what he can for city
its how he did his business is what I rip him for.

Then we all seen when HEAT was closing our 76ers in tight game
playoffs won, at end Wade instead of running clock out he DUNKED
at the last play of game.

When HEAT took out the proud Celtics they also praised Boston and
faked their post game comments on how great Celtics was !
Please did we believe that from a Miami Team ? Whole NBA disdains Celtics.
but respects them.

From Miami its all Fake.
No wonder Delonte West "B__nged" Mrs James. Low class USA.

What class these low class NBA prima stars has as WADE and LBJ eh ?
Well they winning the whole thang know in East, since BULLs are
choking their opportunities and definitely not BETTER 1-3 deficit.

Hope Mavericks win and "Kick it" back in HEATs chin.
It should not be the HEATs time to win yet. Not with the Farce
they made of NBA this past summer and ESPN show proclaiming Big-3
will win many many many NBA titles in Miami together.

Let them try to win the 1st, hope if this is 1st NBA Title (LBJ) its the last!.
Can't stand them and definitely dont respect them, nor Riley.

If Pat Riley can pay P.Pierce, Dwight Howard, or any stud player 5cents
to play for heat convince them on "rings" then Riley would do it and pull
it off.

For me, Chicago's defense has carried the team with Rose going nuts on most teams with great athleticism and iso skills. He just can't do the same things against 2 of the best wing players in LeBron and Wade, and some of the best help defender in the rest of the team.

Let's call it out though: Thibodeau a great defensive coach, he has zero clue how to map out an offensive set at key moments.

you guys all realize that Marv probably creamed his pants when his dream player in Wade blocked that Rose shot near the end of OT

Good point martin
This is called the JVG, Jeff Van Gundy effect ! Gundy taught Thibs well, Tom was bench coach for JVG recall
I love JVG and wish he was Knicks coach now but Thibs is suffering Offensive sets 101 OR the JVG Effect "stagnant offense"
LOL

I think Thibs deserves some criticism but IMO the Bulls run a dumb down offensive set(as they did under VDN) because of the head of the body of offense. Rose is not a quick thinker nor a player who forsees things other than for himself. It's the very reason CDR ran a lot of sets at Memphis as Rose's back court teammate. Most of what Rose does is off instincts and athleticism. I do not see a cerebral player running their team. Look I understand he's a good kid and he has a great attitude but when you advertise him as the greatest thing ever he deserves criticism. If anything I may fault Thibs more for not going to Kurt Thomas as there has been no answer for Bosh on defense. He's carved them up for 4 straight games.

Yeah you have your color guys who outwardly show their love for their binkies...

Who's Breen?

Only ESPN is advertising Rose as the best thing ever, or maybe some other pundits who have no clue. How can you hold that against Rose or the Chicago team?

Who's Breen?

haha I meant Marv the UK poster.

LOL @ Breen who said Lakers when he meant Mavericks discussing will the Thunder come out like they believe they can still win or just showing up.

I never thought Dirk could get me excited as a fan and almost every playoff game he's managed to do just so

Olbrannon wrote:LOL @ Breen who said Lakers when he meant Mavericks discussing will the Thunder come out like they believe they can still win or just showing up.

Wasn't that JVG who said that....

Did you see what you just did there?

OKC making the young costly errors down the stretch. Harden/Brook/Maynor all making dumb decisions....Brook/Harden played great though in reverse roles(as I've suggested)

Rick Carlisle does the job D'AnToni couldn't for Shawn Marion and that's get him to the NBA Finals. Marion had the assignment of guarding Kevin Durant and came up huge defensively in a couple games. Marion also looked like the Matrix of old in a few games once again Carlisle gets the credit. The Mavs weren't in some Track Meet every game in the playoffs.... they played solid half court basketball on both ends of the court every game. Now finish the job this time

love how dirk just walked off after getting the conf finals trophy like "i dont want this crap, been there done that, gimme a ring and we can talk." awesome stuff, that whole team is locked in right now. love their swag. please beat the heat!!!!

juice agreed -- harden and russy switching roles was a smart move by brooks. these guys are just too young.

scary scary group going forward. their 8 man rotation:
collison 30 yo
perkins 26 yo
maynor and daequan cook 23 yo
durant and russ 22 yo
james harden and ibaka 21 yo

i hope corey brewer plays in the finals.
