Olbrannon wrote:LOL @ Breen who said Lakers when he meant Mavericks discussing will the Thunder come out like they believe they can still win or just showing up.

Wasn't that JVG who said that....

Did you see what you just did there?

Your right it was JVG

juice agreed -- harden and russy switching roles was a smart move by brooks. these guys are just too young.

scary scary group going forward. their 8 man rotation:
collison 30 yo
perkins 26 yo
maynor and daequan cook 23 yo
durant and russ 22 yo
james harden and ibaka 21 yo

Yeah Dirk walked off like you said...."THIS IS NOT REAL". It's like the Celtics they don't hang Conference Finals banners in the rafters only Chip Banners and Retred jerseys of greats. Dirk was in the shower while Doris was calling out names of the rest of the Mavericks.

Dirk is not is not in a Barry Manilow/Rod Stewart/Richard Marks/Bryan Adams/Peabo Bryson kind of mood it's more NWA/Megadeath/PE/Alice Cooper/AC/DC/Onyx type of mood. He's not effing around

OKC as mentioned before slide Brook over to the 2 he is more dangerous getting lost in some team's defense playing off the ball. Harden showed point potential tonight and in stretches throughout the playoffs but not sure if I'd try a full convert a player of his talent/skill level but he's for real. 2009 draft is shaping up to be somewhat beastly. OKC has a dilemma even if they keep Brook as a 1 because Harden needs to be a full time starter but they have no bench depth if he gets inserted into it. That's why I was saying they don't need bigs but another 2/3 scoring slash defending threat....like a Tony Allen/C.J. Miles/CDR/J.R. Smith/Shannon Brown/Trevor Ariza/Wilson Chandler....if they were to snag any players of this caliber this summer goodness gracious are they going to be a juggernaut for yrs.

LOL @ the OKC Backpackers/L.A.S.E.R.S. movement look at the PC

Talk about contrasting builds for two teams. Wonder if we can get a Riley-Cuban word war going. Perhaps somebody could invite Cuban to compare Miami in '06 to this year.
matt @ 5/26/2011 12:23 AM
It would be great karma for the Mavericks, who got screwed in 2006 against the Heat, to be the team that beats the Heat after the big fuss from the summer

ESPN just showed the ridiculous foul stats...

Wade took 46 FTA in Games 5/6 The Heat outshot the Mavs in Free Throws games 3-6....156-100.....lulz

Do you guys remember the rivalry (if you wanna call it that) between Lebron and Deshawn Stevenson when he was with the Wizards? Get ready for round 2 of that in the finals. Deshawn absolutely loathes Lebron. I remember DeShawn calling Lebron overrated then Lebron comparing him:Deshawn as comparing Jay Z: Soula Boy, and then Deshawn inviting Soulja Boy to sit courtside at a Wiz playoff game v the Cavs! Oh man these Finals are going to be great.
Juice @ 5/26/2011 10:18 PM
Wade has been trash offensively all series really
CrushAlot @ 5/26/2011 10:31 PM
The officials are making this a game. This is the Eastern Conference Finals. Some of the calls are ridiculous. Someone needs to tell the officiating crew that the Bulls are the home team.
Killa4luv @ 5/26/2011 10:36 PM
CHicago will lose this game. they are riding all of this momentum and the heat are playing poorly and its a 5 point game.
Rose isn't ready and can't do it all by himself.
BigSm00th @ 5/26/2011 10:39 PM
10 point game with 10 to play.

KRAZY KURT IS GETTING BURN AND PLAYING WELL!!!!!! alright!

Killa4luv @ 5/26/2011 10:45 PM
Kurt Thomas is still banging the 18 footers but he looks old as hell!! He is not in great shape, he looks like a man in his 40s.
DrAlphaeus @ 5/26/2011 10:46 PM
Great to see Crazy Eyes a/k/a Dirty Kurty still out there.

I think Thibs deserves some criticism If anything I may fault Thibs more for not going to Kurt Thomas as there has been no answer for Bosh on defense. He's carved them up for 4 straight games.

Well looky looky Crazy eyes is having an impact on the game

Juice @ 5/26/2011 11:08 PM
Derrick Rose what a miserable series for this kid. He better find a way to pull it out because he's clearly the G.O.A.T and I'm not talking the LL Cool J. type but more so the Stephon Marbury Escape type
Juice @ 5/26/2011 11:10 PM
What a disgrace
Juice @ 5/26/2011 11:14 PM
9-28fg and he misses a free throw to tie it. He's gonna have lots of splainin to do. If it wasn't for Brewer and Thomas where would the Bulls be tonight?
DrAlphaeus @ 5/26/2011 11:19 PM
Oof.
AnubisADL @ 5/26/2011 11:20 PM
Chicago got exposed as the offensive inept team that they are.

at Wade playing possum all game.

at Lebron taking circus shots throughout the game then taking normal pull up jumpers and raising over the defender at the end of the game.

Heat are such attention whores.

ATrain @ 5/26/2011 11:20 PM
Twice Rose has missed clutch free throws. Yes, he's a damn good player but shit he's gonna have to work on staying cool under pressure.
Anji @ 5/26/2011 11:21 PM
Well seems like the Bulls had no answer against a team as good as them defensively because Rose being the best player on the court wasn't an option.

I kinda hope Dirk wins 1 but I feel like the Heat winning keeps Chris Paul focus. What's the point of making 15-16 million a year when you can't beat the super teams. Come to New York for 12 million and be happy....

I got 4 million reason per year why he wont come here.
