good point. It's probably just posturing. Seriously, who couldn't use an extra 14M

It's enough only if we improve substantially at PG (highly doable) and Carmelo becomes a different, more efficient, less greedy player than he's been his whole career.

I can't say I didn't like the idea of having CP3, but I wasn't too happy about gutting the team again and the process of trying to rebuild the roster. This path is at least giving the team a chance to win now and not having to wait to fill in an entire roster. There's a lot fewer holes in the roster now. STAT, Melo & Tyson is a sick frontcourt!!!

backcourt needs to be upgraded

I'm more convinced now that Nash will be here next season for the MLE than I ever was for CP3 coming this year.

Yes, it will definitely happen. Just need a PG to hold us over in the meantime.

Iman has a 42" vert, long arms, filthy thief, can do it all on the basketball court and is bigger than, as fast as and jumps higher than Westbrook! Those 2 guys are the future backcourt. I say don't be scared let them play.

#1

I feel Iman is gonna gel well these scorers we have..... And Fields is so smart he will
Fit in as our scrappy defending SG who dunks back rebounds at a huge rate!

Iman at combine was a true Beast ...... He will be a great defender on wing with Tyson
Down low!

Wow can't wait for tip off

Only if we win and is still here..... If we don't win this year we will
Have new coach and no Nash!

Billups wants to go to Miami

I like our frontcourt, but that's a lot of money tied up in a trio that is definitely not the best trio in the league. It is a little concerning from that standpoint. We'll see. I do like Chandler's game a lot, just not sure if he's worthy of being our #3 if we are to be a contender. Not to mention the fact that whether you liked Billups or not, our backcourt just got severely worse.

It's not perfect but I think holes in the backcourt are easier to fill than holes on the front line...

I think this could be a case of the whole being greater than the sum of it's parts. Together STAT, Melo and Tyson is a very good trio. I think they will fit together. Tyson is the ultimate dirty work guy for STAT and Melo. His Length and range will help both STAT and Melo on D.

WOW!!! If Chandler can stay healthy, which is a big "if", this team is going to be solid. Our biggest need for the ppast 5-6 years has been a defensive center. We now have that. I think Iman might turn into a start, especially if he can actually play the point position. Amnesty Billups and start Iman, Fields, Melo, Amare, and Chandler. That is a solid team with good defense at the point and center positions.
