I may have been the pictures but Eddy doesn't look like a man who worked out hard to lose his weight. He has even less muscle definition than he had when he was with us. His arms just look think and long but, I remember his arms being pretty muscular.
Maybe he did another colon cleanser or just dieted but, he doesn't look like he's been killing it in the Gym with Grover as we've been hearing.
Anyone who hasn't played a meaningful minute in 4years is not likely to be in anywhere near game shape. He was an walking offensive foul at his best so, when/if he does get on the floor it won't be for long.

Hunter and Green look like they can come in and contribute some minutes right away...I believe we only have 1 roster spot left.
Shawne Williams will make his decision today as well.
Ak47, doesn't seem like a lot of teams are courting him.
He can play the SF, PF, C, but at his age, he probably slowed down a bit and play the backup pf/C with his length and athleticism.
Peja can still light it up and should be somehow added...

No, he can't. He's shot over 40% from the field once over the last six years. Dude's been washed up for a long time now.

This would make a good career epitaph.

..............cool, they should get atleast 9 more minutes out of him
Whats up everyone? I know its been a while since I've posted on this site, haven't forgotten anyone or all the good times.
I just had to reply when I saw this thread about our beloved Eddy Curry.
I mean comon, is anyone even surprised about this? This is the epitome of failure, the epitome of wasted talent. One day when I have kids, I will tell them the story that is behind this man, and how to avoid becoming such a pathetic and hopeless human being.
Ugh, I'm better now.
See you guys during the season.
Down goes Eddy! Boom goes the dynamite!

Spoelstra says he has yet to run a single conditioning drill. With season around corner, subbing in 40-min scrimmages instead.

Will Eddy Curry play in the Heat's scrimmage tomorrow? Spoelstra says don't get your hopes up.

too funny
Eddy is a sad story being written. The hype and priviledge given at such an early age with many depending on him and him filling those expectations. Eddy does not have the makeup of an NBA nor the desire to sustain a body for the task.
Blessed with a big body and a graceful talent the expectatins were huge.
The Sadness in his life and the huge money that made him prisoner in his own world.
Its not healthy.
I Hope he can walk away and do something he is good at and wants to do.

What this?
A dude that can't keep his fitness does not want to be a professonal basketball player. He is expected to be one his whole life but this is not who he is, its what he trying to be.
THere is a sadness about him.

I only hope somehow, this seemingly neverending stumbling mess and the CBA are all that is ever really connected with IT the baskeball executive.
That would add at least a level of mild justice to the sadness.
