Cause that Yankees/Mets rivalry is better than any inter-division rivalry they've got going on, right?

You wouldn't be able to move one without completely breaking up the Eastern/Western conferences. Lakers/Clippers, Magic/Heat, Rockets/Spurs/Mavs...

DrAlphaeus @ 12/23/2011 11:26 AM
That would mean we play them less, right? That means less NYC-area Knicks games.
EwingsGlass @ 12/23/2011 12:03 PM
No reason to travel more...
Nalod @ 12/23/2011 1:06 PM
Move Nets to the ABA and then have the ABA champ play the NBA champ!

35 years too late!

You guys bring up some valid points.
I was thinking it would be nice to have 2 Division winners from the same City.
NYKBocker @ 12/23/2011 2:30 PM
You would have to change the whole NBA makeup. No western/eastern conference but like Nalod said...ABA/NBA conf type.

They are in the same division, in the same (Eastern) conference.

It's not like the MLB and NFL, where the local teams are in different conferences.

Let's leave it the way it is, so the Knicks can lay the pimp hand down on the Nyets four times a year.

Does this pimp slap include pre-slap baby powder?
