trade chandler to NJ for draft picks (they arent getting dwight, and this might be the only way deron stays)
trade amare to ORL for dwight
sign nash
Rebuild with dwight and carmelo and draft picks
We could offer any and every player on our roster but Orlando wouldn't give us Dwight. I doubt any teams will view Chandler that favorably either. He's got a huge contract and his play has been mediocre.
What we should do is fire this coach
no doubt GS is interested in Tyson

Shumpert. Fields. Carmelo. Stoudemire. Chandler.
No Panic
Realistically knicks need to trade everyone but melo, stat, chandler, and shump. Get a real supporting cast in here.
....is bench TD for Shumpert.
Trade TD for a second round pick.

Wow, when's the last time we started that big?

LOL, now if only there was such a thing as a mini-amnesty.

We gotta do it like that. Bully ball, play inside\outside, when we switch on D there's no true weak links...

+1. The Knicks are trying to win now and committed to a center rather than a point guard. Management is no longer deperately trying to find away to make D'Antoni successful. He will be given a chance to do something with this line up but bypassing on a marquee point for a defensive center is a huge statement by management.

Wait, who at point are you talking about instead of Chandler?

I think he means Billups or whoever we were going to try to get next off season or at the deadline.

Oh right, Billups. He'd probably be injured, our luck.

That is exactly what I mean. If you are supporting D'Antoni you keep Billups and make a run at Paul or Deron.
i am pretty sure Iman would be asked for Dwight Howard or anyone with "all star" status.
I wonder if we can trade for Deron Williams in the summer if they fail to sign 2 star players.
If Iman has a a great year, he might be asked in with Amare/Jorts to make it work.
Deron and a resigned Kris Humprhies...
I would love to see Iman grow here in New York but I am not sure how the Knicks feel about a quality PG or All Star PG.
