He's toning it down. That's a lower rate than the 1st half.
Can't over react to a game like this. It happens. Just hate it happened on national tv

Coincidentally, that set the rookie record for shots taken this season, so far
I'd like to see the bench guys stabilize the game and play some good BB to close this game out. Gotta use this as a learning experience now and see if they can make it close.

They just need to let the bench guys get some run and learn how to put some good possessions together. You can't win them all.
Wrong. Bad games are one thing. Playing selfish and undisciplined is another.
Saying "you can't win them all" is a cop out.

He should sit until the final two minutes and then be put back in.

You don't know that he wasn't asked to be aggressive tonight. We haven't seen this kid ever act like this. Not to mention that he's usually a very smart guy that knows his role. I have to guess that he was trying to be more of a scorer tonight.

Negative. This is not about blasting the rookie. This game shows lack of coaching. Shumpert forced his game where there was no reason to. This game is evidence that D'Antoni does not have adequate control of this squad.

D'Antoni told Aldridge at the half that Shump was trying to solve all of the Knicks problems by himself.

You don't know that he was. What we saw was one boneheaded play after another while strandling our offensive weapons. Disgusting display of selfish basketball.
Gotta love it when other team calls time out exactly when we need I'd.
I just don't get how you let that happen. No timeout. No telling him to cool it or pass the rock.

Lots of over reaction to one game. So we scrap previous 4 games efforts for one game??

i miss the Shumpert we saw in the second half at Washington - only time i felt he really MOVED the ball. and his highest assist game by FAR.
it's funny, d'antoni begged the NY Media not to prematurely tout shump, the NY media prematurely touted Shump and he went from a guy who was moving the ball with confidence to a guy who was missing shots left and right with confidence.

TNT guys were talking about style versus personnel for the Knicks roster. I hope they continue after the break.
The real test is how shump comes back next game.
The goal should be to at least get to 80, the way they're going they may not get to 70. 54 points with 9 mins to go is shameful.
