Why then do you fire Brown if you think it made no difference if they ran the Princeton offense with Nash as the PG versus MDA's offense with Nash? It sure as hell makes a difference that MDA is the coach along with Nash. Nash is free to be Nash in MDA's offense and trust me that's what Alvin Gentry was running. GTFO with this kind of crap.

This Laker team has some real issues and it's not a typical MDA type of team. There's only so much that any coach could do with this Laker team. It's a big slow team with not enough quality role players. Everything is in the top 5 guys. Still if they can manage to come together and figure out just who and what they are they can be a very tough team in the playoffs where things tend to slow down just a bit, which helps them. They still have a ways to go in terms of execution and chemistry.

I did not mean to kick off your MDA alarm. Just stating my opinion which is my 1st amendment UK right.

Go back to sleep.

MDA should thank NASH every time he says a silent prayer as to why he is even relevant.

I'll do it. The guy coached five years without Nash. His record is 114-203 without him.

Who was the best PG he had for a full season in those five years? Toney Douglas? Chris Duhon?

11 pages about our 1st place Atlantic division leading and/or 2nd place team of the entire Eastern Conference being "garbage" at 21-8 overall. Nice to know.

We have a garbage team? Wrong. Try again. Try a little harder. More like a garbage thread.

He had Van Exel, Billups (pretty much a 2 at that point), Marbury (03 Marbs), Duhon, Felton, Billups and Douglas. Not a bad bunch other than Douglas and Duhon. Marbs at that point was playing at an all star level.

MDA made Nash

Couldn't he make someone else (aside from Lin)?

He is too!

So sad for Nash that he is/was the best shooter of all time and on the right team with the right coach he could have one it all.
