“We lost [the scrimmage], and I wasn’t able to do what I needed to do," Davis said. “It’s a process — with good days and bad days. As long as you can walk away pain-free, I’m not discouraged because I haven’t played a basketball game since April. It’s the competitor in me wants everything to happen now.” I have a lot of kinks to work out.’’

When was the last time a player lamented a loss in a scrimmage?

Take your sweet time Baron.

We Talkin' Bout Pain... not the game... not the game... we talkin' 'bout PAIN

“I know it’s a process, there’ll be some ups and downs,” Davis said before the game. “There’s going to be some good days, there’s going to be some bad days; as long as you can walk away with it pain free with nothing aggravated or anything, I think right now is the most important thing."
