It's sad that Amare's and Chandler's lack of a post game is killing us. We dont have someone we can throw the ball down low too to get an easy 2 points. I think some people took what Eddy Curry provided for granted. Didnt have to run a play for him. No pick and roll required. Just throw him the ball in the post and good things will happen. Obviously Eddy Curry wasnt an ideal center because he played no D, didnt rebound, nor could he pass well. However, easy baskets 2 feet from the rim are definitely underrated on this current Knick team.

P.S. GET DWIGHT HOWARD SO WE CAN PLAY INSIDE OUT

Don't forget Curry's offensive fouls. With easy scoring, you take away just about everything else.

I am on the same page as you when it comes to Howard though.

i don't think it's lack of post pressence. rather lack of a game plan that gets players the ball in the post. melo is one of the most effective post scorers in the league. amar'e had one of the best post game points per possession ratings in the nba in 2009-10.

also, pining for eddy curry is just sad.

i see those highlights and i pine more for jamal's ability to throw a lob off the pick and roll.

Get Howard and Phil. Triangle would be good for this team. Might as well trade Melo for Williams if we have Howard on our roster. We better defensive team and passing team.

Without a post presence we are a jump shooting team with no shooters outside of Melo.

We are never going to have proper spacing with Chandler on the floor because he cant hit a mid range or baseline jumper.

you always need at least 2 players that are capable of beating the man of their dribble.
we have 0

we have a post player that is forced to play semi point forward because of this

even if Baron Davis comes back, we still need 2 players that can beat their own man of the dribble

Start Lin with Iman, Iman doesn't have the ability to break down the defense by himself, especially with Amare and TC in the paint.
But if he is the 2nd player, he can utilize the triple threat with Anthony at all times.
Yes Lin, is better than any PG we currently have, with exception to Baron Davis
