Wrong. Dolan insisted that.

Not so funny.

Maybe, but my point is JVG said it too and he's the one saying that Amar'e and Melo can't work.

Allanfan20 - You need to put your listening ears on.

Van Gundy NEVER said that Amar'e and Carmelo cannot work. What he said was there was more to creating a TEAM than simply adding talent. Van Gundy also went on to add detail to his point by stating that coaches could not be afraid to be honest with their best players. He continued by mandating players willingness to do "the dirty work" (rebounding, going after loose balls) ... but he NEVER said it could not work.

JVG mentioned all the criteria in the context of team building.

Some of his best broadcast work to date.

If You Think The Answer Man How Can Measure "indefinitely" You Crazy

"The Knicks are not planning to have Baron Davis before the All-Star break. Coach Mike D’Antoni said Davis has had "a setback" in his rehab from a herniated disc and remains out indefinitely."

However long it is, it does not sound good.

Thank goodness for New Nash... I mean ShaoLin... I mean... Landry's Roommate... I mean... Jeremy Lin.

"Paging JR Smith,... Paging JR Smith,.. please pick up the orange courtesy phone..."

glad to see you're on board for JR. i think he'd be a great addition. we could really use a shooter/scorer like him.

i hope lin can be consistent enough to play maybe 30 minutes a game. i think we still need another PG on the roster if baron isn't going to be able to play. mike james? to back up the talented mr lin, of course.

Not to mention we're a little short in the locker room cancer department. And I didn't like the looks of that cohesive team meeting thing as the five on the floor crowded together before heading to the bench towards the end of the Nets game/Jeremy Lin Birthday Party. Building team chemistry is such a stupid thing after all. Let's get a disgruntled headcase in the mix!

Already reading that what the Knicks have to offer JR isn't enough to feed his family, anyway.
