Wow, I was going to say a few weeks ago that Berman had seemingly improved this season, but with all the losing he seems to have reverted to his old ways. If you remember a few days ago he made up a load of crap about Melo missing the Miami game because he was afraid of Lebron, when in actual fact he usually gets the best of Lebron, and any fool could see Melo needed to take some games off to sort out his wrist, ankle and thumb.
Now he seems to have moved on to BD, with this hilarious excuse for 'journalism':
Point-ed critique of BaronSome Knicks are surprised point guard Baron Davis did not make his debut on their four-game recent road trip, according to a person familiar with the situation.
Despite the club’s crisis-level 1-9 slide in their past 10 games, Davis — who has not played this season because of herniated disks — keeps postponing his Knicks debut after returning to practice one week ago because he feels he is not sharp or strong enough yet in scrimmages.
Davis’ return still is up in the air, and a source said it could be one week before he makes his Knicks debut. Davis will practice today in his first 5-on-5 scrimmage since last Monday, and unless he looks terrific, he won’t play tomorrow against the Pistons at the Garden.

So someone linked to the team simply says they were surprised BD hasn't returned yet, and he spins it into an article which is basically saying he's bailing on the team and could easily play. What complete crap! he was only cleared for full court running last week- he hasn't played basketball in 9 months, and has looked dreadful in practice- he's no where near ready. What is the point in rushing him out after a few days, and only 1, yes ONE 5 on 5 practice?!
There are enough bad things to write about this team, without having to resort to making stuff up and stirring up trouble where there isn't an issue.
that source is probably D'Antoni!
The way I read it, and its consistent, is that nobody plays until they look good in practice.
Not rookies and not Veterans.
Baron has yet to play a game under MDA.
"Can't get any worse".......
Well, putting in unprepared players coming off of injury it could.
Baron goes down hard then what?
"Some Knicks?"
C'mon Berman... If you got the "inside" word what is stopping you from naming names? Sheesh. If you gonna stir he pot at LEAST have the courage to back it up with some facts.
What are you afraid of?
Yes, Berman, the staunch defender of journalistic integrity, the man who brought you, singlehandedly, Starbury updates from irrelevance land!
Rags are rags. Expecting Berman to provide honesty in his articles is like fishing in clogged toilets in the ladies room looking for clean tampons to use to wipe your nose.
Man, I'm sure glad I'm not eating breakfast today.
I can't beleive people still read him
I feel sorry for him. Since Steph left he's had nothing. That's why he desperately writes anything Steph says from abroad. It's all he's got.
The Post needs to move on. The man shot his credibility with his Marbury worship. He would be better off reporting in China.
does he still write about marbury? no way. still? seriously, when was the last time?
wow, just saw this lead sentence from august 2011
Chinese basketball stalwart Stephon Marbury told The Post yesterday he does not think either Carmelo Anthony or Amar'e Stoudemire could cut it in China because they may not have the right mindset for the grittiness of the country's basketball scene.
