Hi, I’m a reporter at The Associated Press. I am thinking of writing a story about the dispute between MSG and Time Warner that is preventing many cable subscribers from watching Knicks and Rangers games. I don’t know who your cable provider is, but I’m sure you must be in contact with Knicks fans who are angry about losing TV access to the games. If so I’d love to speak with them.

oh this is awesome
If you vent, please post a recap
Hey, can DISH subscribers vent too? We've been Knick-less for a year and a half now.

Just got off the phone a few minutes ago. Here's a recap of my rant.
"I'm angry at both sides. Time Warner claims to provide coverage for ALL area sports teams but doesn't yet my bill is still the same. The Dolan's own the team and the network. As Knicks fans we've always supported the franchise regardless of what they've done to our team. We're good enough to forever pay increased ticket prices buy the hats, posters and jerseys but not good enough to watch the team play on television because they want a ridiculous amount of money to do so. I can't switch providers and the only way to watch the games is watch it on an online stream if I'm lucky."
She said she wants to do the story but they asked her to write about something else so no way of knowing if it will get done or not. However, if enough people start bompbarding her phone she'll have no choice.

NEW YORK (AP) Jeremy Lin is making the Knicks must-see TV in Asia.
The NBA says Thursday its Asian TV partners have added Knicks games to their broadcast schedules following the emergence of Lin, the first American-born NBA player of Chinese or Taiwanese descent.
Sina in China will show Friday's game against the Lakers, while stations in Taiwan will televise Knicks games this month against Toronto, Sacramento, New Orleans, New Jersey and Atlanta. ESPN Philippines also added the Feb. 17 Hornets game in New York.
Lin, an undrafted guard from Harvard, has led the Knicks to three straight wins, scoring more than 20 points in each game.
Ironically, his performances are missed by many in New York. A dispute between Time Warner Cable and MSG Network is keeping the Knicks off that system.
MSG said its ratings are up 36 percent over its season average in the two games since Lin moved into the starting lineup on Monday.

So you can watch the Knicks in you're in China or the Philippines but you can't if you're in New York City. Hysterical.

If she somehow is insturmental in getting the TWC/MSG dispute resolved her picture should lead off every game thread. Watching the game on ESPN just reminds me of how much I miss out on watching the games streaming.
Enough is enough. We need to reach out to our representatives to stop this. This isn't limited to TWC. MSG has done this with several other cable providers and who knows what will be next. Even if you don't have TWC you should care cause your provider can be next.
See link below. Reach out to your reps and let's push for legislation to stop this from happening again.
