Yes, this is "Linsanity": The point guard certainly "checks all the Tebow-esque boxes," says Jake Simpson at The Atlantic. He's a college star who was expected to fail in the pros. He's a devout Christian who thanks Jesus after every game. He plays a key position on a team that was flailing before he arrived. (He doesn't even have a place to call home, sleeping on his brother's couch in New York's Lower East Side.) Yes, like Tim Tebow, Jeremy Lin fulfills "several prerequisites for Internet superstardom," and it's no wonder his run this week drove the blogosphere "berserk." As impressive as Lin's court presense has been, it's "dwarfed by his larger-than-life image online."

big diff to me. lin doesnt suck for 95% of a game . even when tebow is "on", he still doesnt look like he belongs playing his position. lin so far, looks great. hope the ride continues.
tim tebow didn''t really lead the broncos. the whole broncos team played better. Sure he contributed but lin is completely taking over the game
Lin could be our Charlie Ward
lin could be our jeremy lin
Tebow who??
Lin >> Tebow, son!
Linferno is burning up the league. Difference between Lincredible and Tebow is that Linsanity has less questionable skills. Super Lintendo is way more consistent. The Linternational Playboy is also less polarizing. Unlike Tebow, everybody loves Lintensity. And also, Linstant Offense has way more nick name potential. Sorry for this Linterruption.
Lin can be our Betty White.
Difference between Tim Tebow and Lin? Lin can actually play.
Lin is our Bill Cosby
He makes everybody happy

Very linteresting take.
How are Lin and Tebow similar other than they're both devout Christians? If anything, Lin is our Victor Cruz: both players were unrecruited out of HS and decided to go to schools in MA not known for athletics. Both, despite having very good college careers, went undrafted after graduating in 2010. Lin was waived by his first two teams and Cruz was put on IR so NYG could sign someone else. Then, in their second professional season, were forced into action by injuries to players ahead of them and have, so far, been incredible.
This Thread is Lindiculous...Lock it up now...How dare you insult Lin with a comparison to Tim Tebow. Jeremy Lin can actually Pass unlike Tebow.
Just glad nobody brought up the neverending Clinton Wheeler comparisons.
