...that for the official record only ENYSPREE really was on board as supporter of J-Lin before everyone else here & in the media jumped on the bandwagon. Truthfully, I don't know if that's because Eny wishes he went to Harvard & just likes to rep for the crimson or like many men he just as an insatiable Asian fetish but dude was way ahead of the "Linsanity" curve and deserves huge props as a prognosticator!!!
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Look I first watched lin in the summer league in 2010 and thought the kid had talent. But you still have to prove it in a real NBA enviornment and lin is ceratily doing that. So you cant blame people for not being huge lin fans a couple weeks ago since we couldn't see what he could so unless he got good playing time. Now he is playing and he deserves all the praise he is getting.
Except that BRIGGS posted a thread saying we should draft Lin as a second rounder two years ago. Not takin nothin from Eny, but seemed a lot of posters were beggin for Lin. NYKBocker comes to mind as well. In any event, let Lin unify the fans and not divide them.
I recall a lot of posters saying play Lin.
I'll go on record right now and say I still don't think Lin was ready that much sooner than Linsanity erupted. But it doesn't matter. The movement is on!
Lin is on fire, the fans are enjoying it, and the Knicks are benefiting from it. There is nothing to complain about.

this may be true eVil & BRIGGS certainly has been way out in front on many other players (although its shocking that he would say somebody who didnt go to UConn was worth anything...uhh, any body remember the Hasheem Thabeet is the next Wilt/Russell posts
) but I guess what i'm really trying to say is that this board operates on a herd mentality. Everybody says Melo doesnt play any defense or pass the ball so Melo must not do theses things (even though the numbers this year say otherwise)...everybody says Gallo wouldve become the next Bird if we wouldve kept him, well then by gosh by golly it must be true.
On the other hand, it takes some true cojones for someone to go out on a limb & say something other than what group mentalities here are espousing, so once again Big Ups Eny (& others) who thought outside the box & said this kid is the answer for Dantoni's system.
