that might lower his trade value

He effectively cancels out that advantage a star player gives his team. All we need is for this group to get a chance to practice and play together and get a groove and real chemistry. It all makes much more sense with a real PG.

I hear that, nixluva.

But will he wave Lin off? That's really the crux of the crucible.

Like Shump sometimes does?

I want to see ALL of them play out their contracts here- That means it was a success. Lin Shump Fields Melo Amare Tyson Jorts - Let it happen-
Speaking of vaccuums I need a new one. Had one of those bagless ones. It doesn't suck, that's the problem. My apartment is dustier than an insense store in Calcutta. Any recommendations?

I just go this Kenmore. Don't get it, it sucks (or doesn't suck enough)

I'm trying to keep my head up.

Thankfully their fans and not gm's. Keep your head bro, this team is going to be special.

GTFO.

I'd trade Amar'e well before Melo.

I think a Lin / Melo / Tyson / Shump / Fields core is one you can compete for a title with.

Still not convinced Amar'e fits.

If another person mentions trading Tyson, I'm gonna puke.

How is it that they're allowed to sell ineffective vaccuums? I'm afraid I might have to drop some cash on this one that I was saving for the Knicks insignia waterbed.
DON"T TRADE ANYONE

This is silly and ridiculous. Lin is a sensation, but let's see how he plays for a full season before we anoint him a top 5 NBA player. On the flipside, long term Lin needs Amar'e and Melo, because Lin probably can't put up 25 points a night if he's the focal point of the opposing team's defensive strategy. I believe Melo can play without needing to dominate the ball all the time. Late in the fourth, you want Melo to dominate the ball, because he's clutch. We have a team that can play MDA ball now... let's see how Melo does in that system. He's never gotten an opportunity to prove whether he can play in an MDA system because for Melo's entire tenure in NY, we haven't had a PG capable of running MDA's system. Now we do. Let's see how Melo does before making any rash judgments.
