All the attention is on Melo
however recall when Melo joined NY Amare shrank

I still feel Amare need to FEEL Knicks is his team more than Melo. That is an issue.

Lin is no Amare in terms of talent
however Amare needs to get going (Offense) and his toughness will be tested tonite when he gets ball and misses jumpers since he thinks Offense 1st same as Melo.

I do not see Amare deferring to Lin, Fields or anyone on floor way he deferred to Melo and that will disrupt the Knicks scheme of things. Of course PG Lin pick and roll will help however Amare often
forgets he needs to rebound, defend & pass plus reduce his turnovers.

We'll see!

amar'e is pretty rusty. but still doesn't look like a natural fit next to tyson. and taking out jeffries' defense for amar'e's is a MAJOR downgrade. can defense be rusty?
