This is a big game for the Knicks. Knicks are actually percentage points ahead of Boston right now in 7th spot and the Hawks are 3.5 games ahead of us. It would be a very good win to move us a step closer to the 6 spot. Also we're 4 games back of the 5th spot where Indiana is right now.

I don't want to go into the Allstar break on a 3 game losing streak, listening to all the media banging on about how Melo can't play with Lin. This is a winnable game- possibly no joe Johnson. The two players that concern me the most are Marvin williams (he wants a trade where he'll get more touches- if joe is out he has a great stage in MSG to showcase his talents), and t-mac who's complaining about his falling minutes- again playing in MSG may motivate him. I hate it when scrubs light us up. Hope we win- that nets loss has really left a bitter taste in my mouth!

It's because Carmelo came back and everyone was operating with a "WE GOT THIS GAME" attitude instead of a "WE NEED THIS GAME" attitude. Basically Nets needed it more than we did. Winning Dallas the day before probably took things out of perspective as well.
