Watching but already bored lol
Haha ya, it's already become background entertainment, but I still stand by my preference of this over the All Star game.
I'm so glad Lin only played like 2 minutes and sat down for nearly the entire half. I think MDA sent Steve Kerr a memo to not play Lin too hard.
I could watch Rubio play all day everyday. Freaking Kahn!
I turned it off. So damn boring. Why did Lin even bother to show up and be part of this in the first place anyway? He should have just gone to Disney World with his family and spend the day there instead.
i watched exactly 1 minute. Prob watch the real guys on Sunday for maybe 2.

The All Star is a joke. It's not even worth watching. I'll probably just skip Sunday too and go enjoy the outdoor instead.

Hater.
The All Star is the soul of the game. This is where we all party and celebrate the game.

No it isn't.

The All Star game is doing more to harm the reputation of the game than build it. Players, as in the NFL game, just go through the motions and cheapen the hard work it takes to get there. No one defends. No one. As a result you may as well run five on none.
The goal is to avoid injury.
me personally, i love the nba all star game more than any other. it is entertainment and i am one of those people who not only likes watching their team representative do damage ( go melo!) but tak interests in seeing the young blood that i havent seen all year doing work. i dvr it and watch it for about a week if it has interesting plays, which they will. i will get my defense in april and may.

It's a weekend where the guys take a break from greuling season schedule to rest, relax, and celebrate the game.
A beautiful thing.

That's exactly why it's boring to watch. Players just runs back and forth and make their shot and by the time the game is over, the score is 134 to 142
Somebody gets granted MVP without so much as breaking a sweat and the MVP usually goes to the hometown player that the AS is being hosted at.

But you get to celebrate the game and have fun.

seriously I miss the days when they only picked pure shooters
Some great dunks this year: Chase Budinger blind folded, Paul George in the dark, Rubio to Williams off the side of the backboard, and absolutely Jeremy Evans double dunk. He won it on that dunk alone.
