if it's true, Stat's feeling like he's the odd man out.

WHOSE fault is that eh ?

I am always the biggest Amare fan
but if youre leaderless LIKE STOUDEMIRE
and aint gonna demand the rock/BALL and live your life as a 6' 9" Forward star on the perimeter 3/4 of full game
looking and living for your Jumpshot as AMARE seems content with

Whadda ya expect?

Amare isnt taking no blame
he comes off saying he sacrificed his game for MELO

I dont say some of it aint true
But he is soundling little selfish here

He isnt doing the little things of the big things he used to produce in NBA
and gained respect.

Sounds like Sour grapes

You can feed Amare the ball 20-25 shots same as MELO

Lets see whom will score more !

Amare dont even play Defense like he needs to

He need to get on the ball with his leadership cause I dont see it!
if he needs to have the ball more go to your PG!

simple

He needs to demand the ball..that sounds kind of selfish on it own..

You know exactly what i mean

The great player know it

obviously Amare isnt a great player

if you're going to lead you need to take charge
Lin just came about the other day. He needs more than a coach putting him in the game

Wade leads and talks to his mates

Kobe leads as well as Derrick Rose

They arent going to always be right! but if they want to take control of the flow all the stars
lead when they let you know the're in the game and need to be a force

Amare isnt a force

he sounds like he needs Knicks and coaching to figure this all out for him

Reason why so many stars in league go to next level like
Pierce, like Dirk like Kobe, like Wade they play with a chip on the shoulder and Winning is what counts
even if they gotta take the big shot OR ask for it

Amare isnt at level at winning counts
if he's good enough OR in MELO class he'd put his butt in the paint and force the game
when his jumper isnt working GO INSIDE

when his inside game is being defended box out, hustle do the "Tyson chandler" Things on court to inspire mates

he used to do that!
he doesnt anymore

We can blame this all on MELO which is crap but if Melo gets his shooting woes fixed and keep working hard on his inside
game Melo will be fine. Since 1996 Espn says MELO is second in league with Game winning shots made < 5sec left in game
17 of 35 attempts made; Second to Rudy Gay (11 of 22) and BETTER than Kobe, Lebron, Wade and Dirk

That's a killa'
Melo may not be the leader teams needs but
Let PG Lin handle these guys

Amare simple gotta step up
he has not yet and is reason stories about he's unhappy with his touches BUT fails to be any impact
regardless of need to get the ball. He's shooting like crap, not going to basket enough and dont play D

Sounds like a selfish formula adding up = Poor season for the Disgruntled Amare whom' isnt looking himself in the mirror

That sums it up..

SAS was on ESPN first trade, he graded the Clev win as only a B. Again felt that A'mare didn't get enough shots. Said the Lin's main job is to get the ball to Melo and A'mare. SAS is too starstruck to see the way basketball should be played.

its funny how stephen A went from being a huge lin fan to thinming he is a scrub for having one off game against the best team

KNicks fed Amare early and we got down. At some point you got to give it to others and come back.

Amare if he returns to form will be a trend, not an overnite reversal.

That is just too boring media.

http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/player...
Amare's almost last in shooting efficiency among PFs (ahead of only Cousins and Gooden). He's been one of the worst PFs in the league on both ends of the court. If this is injury related, he should sit out until he's right, have surgery, or do whatever he needs to. He's not helping the team now anyway.

I'm not sure what Amare or game some of you are watching..I constantly see Amare goto make a quick move into the pain, after halfway losing his man, he now has to deal with TYSON and his man right under the basket..

The guy keeps stressing spacing and playing the MDA way, because thats how he thrives, open court..
I'm not understanding how some of you are not reconizing a big part of the problem..

I'm baffled at the wide open mis jumpers, but i contribute that to having no rythem..NBA players may lose some athletic abilties over the years, but you don't just lose your jump shot overnight..

Really? I constantly see Amare having the ball in good position, leaping about 3 inches off the ground, and getting blocked.

Lame excuse. Tyson is not a fat slob he doesn't take up the whole basket. I mean i gurantee many power forwards would have a field day in amares spot. The real truth is that amare just doesn't have the same explosion or the jumper he had last year. It has nothing to do with tyson. It has to do with the fact that amare gained weight which was the dumbest thing he could have done and he hasn't really worked on the things he should work on. Hopefully he willthe next few days

well until that jump shot improves he will get his shot block, the defense isn't respecting it, and waiting in the paint.... Still think it's the tyson factor

It's similar to the zach and curry expiriment..it's a tough adjustment from getting the ball almost everytime down court, to being the 2nd 3rd or 4th option..You lose your rythem and timing

It's a reason melo is shooting a career low %, not the same touches, the sweet spots aren't always there..ONCE THIS TEAM CLICKS and buys in(and that means more running), the sky is the limit

he is getting his shot blocked because he has no lift for whatever reason. tyson really has nothing to do with it.

Yeah, is he gonna jump higher if Tyson is not on the court?

No lift?? you don't get your shot block because you can't jump, there's been 100's of players (zach, bird duncan oakly) that only get up 2 to 3 inches and are deadly...If your timing is off and your hesitant..your gonna give the defense an edge, and your shots will be too hard or too soft..

On dunks you get your shot blocked if you have no lift.

This type of dunk used to be Amare's posterizing move, now courtesy of Shump. Oh well, I hope D'Antoni has a plan for LJ take 2..

I hope we see much more of that. Shump plays great defense but he is struggling to get quality shots off.

Zach Randolph used to get his shot blocked all the time. And, he is not that much of a dunker. Lift, and more importantly - Explosive Lift is what he is lacking now, and that definitely is a strong contributor to the blocked shots.
