Of course, the starting five include the BBC - The Lin and Landry Show... Lin is one tough sucka - growing right before our disbelievin' eyes, and Landry donated the couch... that couch should go directly to the basketball hall of fame...
... but how can you deny the veteran chemistry of The Baron of Davis running with prodigal homeboy JR Smith?
The video of JR's reverse dunk is being donated to The Smithsonian.
Carmelo Anthony is as good as it gets, but do you want the evil curse of the dreaded "ball-stopper" stalking your dreams, or the comfort and security of Master Lock Defense played by Imam Shumpert? Shump is finally playing without his legs wrapped like The Mummy and the titanium springs in his knees are liberated.
Shumpert's orange kicks should be standard team issue for all home games.
The earthly remains of Amar'e Stoudemire or Steve Novak?
Stevie Wonder is raining three pointers from the blue seats and running back on defense like a gunslinger who just exacted revenge from an ornery claim jumper. AllState may be calling soon.
Tyson Chandler IS The Captain. That's a fact Jack. Would you have paid to hear his halftime rant?
Jared Jeffries. We talkin' Jared Jeffries. Say what you want, dude simply completes the Knicks defense. Every time he makes a layup a Victoria's Secret Angel gets a new bra.
The only thing our second shifters need is a hook.

Fantastic, and so apropos.
I thought the Shawne Williams signing was good... Novak is much, much better. He's a great spot up shooter (obviously) and a pretty good shooter off the dribble. What a gem.
And, yes, I am more entertained by Novak than ANY Knick. Seems like a good a guy. Bu tmor eimportantly, I want him to get the ball. It's beautiful to watch when the ball is moving and Novak waits to pull the trigger on a 35 footer that I and everyone else wants to see him shoot. Incredible
WE WANT NOVAK
It was fun to watch the Second Unit give business last night. We have two starting units!
I know it was a very exciting 2nd half but can't forget that we were down 17 primarily because of the starting 5. Last time we got giddy about destroying Sacramento and Miami took us to the woodshed. Starting 5 has to pick it up especially defensively. We can't always rely on Jeffries & Shumpert

I would pay to watch Novak stroke it all night long
The home crowd would love it.
Would D'Antoni ever consider going with a two platoon system where all five reserves reported to the scorers table in unison?
That would be fun.

if that happened at the next home game, the damned roof would blow off
Beyonce:
"to the left, to the left..."SupremeC - exactly. It is an old Dean Smith ploy used to remind his starters that they are not irreplaceable. Similarly, instead of ranting, Red Holzman would quietly pull his starters (Clyde and Willis included) when he was not happy with the defensive effort.
Red politely reminded them, "on offense you can do what you want. On defense you do what I want."
Now all we need is a hip name for our Second Five that is a First Five in disguise.

I'd rather Sean Williams over Bill Walker but, at the same time I like our depth. We went from shoe paper think to phone book thick.

"Fast 5" like the movie? Someone shop Novak into Vin Diesel's face
Two Thumbs Up

"I think, to be honest, and it may seem funny, but the amount of games that we're playing I feel like helps," Novak said. "Because you never go that long of a stretch without getting up or down about a great night or a down night. In like two hours, it's kind of like so what? You've got to do it again tomorrow."
The Fab Five rocks

The KRAKEN has arrived in NY. RELEASE THE KRAKEN.
At team practices, the Knicks’ revamped second unit, which includes Davis, has fared well in scrimmages, D’Antoni said.“Every day in practice we are challenging them, and we are kicking their butts,” Davis said.
Hold up... this is starting to grow on me...
Grandmaster Crash (Jared Jeffries positioned perfectly for yet another charge) and The Furious Five
