What made Donnie a great fit was he was someone with a strong Cred that could execute a plan.
He was hired to clean out the stench of Isiah and the disfunction that surrounded that era.
Like Checketts before him, Donnie was not a "yes" man.
Its pretty evident Donnie was exiled as he did not want to go all in for Melo.
This brings me to a point that Charles Barkley made about his buddy Michael Jordan who he felt has surrounded himself with "Yes Men" because Mike is too powerful to tell him he is wrong. Jordan has sucked as GM of the Wiz, President of operations of the Bobcats and as majority owner. He Drafted both Kwame and Adam Morrison and nobody stopped him.
Dolan is not awesome like Mike was, but he has a big Juice Card. If his basketball man thought Melo was not worth a certain price then you should go with that.
I realize its "Just" been a year and we are stacked with talent and I am as hopeful as anyone.
I can only imagine Dolan is not the only moron owner in the league but you just wonder when owners pay people and don't listen.
If we have to lay blame, its got to go to the top.

Dolan doesn't care if we win a title or not. he obviously doesn't know basketball. the only thing he sees is $$$. bringing melo to ny = $$$. now linsanity = $$$$$$$$$$$. cuz the fact of the matter is, fans will still come to games no matter how sh!tty we're playing.

It's true, and it's the reason I'm holding out hope that he will do something with Melo once he realizes that Linsanity is worth more $$$ than Melo.
If he lets Linsanity run like a wild donkey, forget it, he's got all of China in his lap.
