Knicks · Have The Knicks Outgrown Carmelo AND Stoudemire? (page 1)

Embarrassing to watch Spurs announcers incredulous at the highlight of Amar'e stepping away from Tony Parker

Shift Du Lin

Lin
Shump, add a consistent jumper and you have Michael Jordan
Fields
Jared Jeffries, defense
Chandler, rebounding

Who Got Next?

Baron Davis (needs to start shooting better than Mike Bibby)
JR Smith
Novak, offense
Josh Harrellson

That's nine

gut check time for those 2. Point blank: when both were out the Knicks played better defense and team ball.

don't care about the level of opponents, it is what it is.

The Spurs announcers have labelled Amar'e a sieve. Sheesh.

Forget the scoring. We need twice as much effort from them both on defense.

and we need both to become quick, intuitive and accurate passers.

At the end of the day i think Lin and Melo can figure out how to dominate together and translate it into wins. I think it is Stoudemire that has really become a problem because he doesn't play defense and creates and inbalance in this system.

So you don't think they are capable of playing together at all? Or you don't think Melo is a good player? Or don't think Lin is? Or think Stoudemire is a great player? Try explaining and see what comes out.

Clearly you're trying to be funny and are just a typical overreacting knicks fan. Being a melo hater doesn't prove anything. This is why people make fun of knicks fans. This isn't a video game.

Probably thinks if we still had Gallo we would be top team in the east.

There is a reason why stars like Kobe/Wade are considered top tiered stars.

Carmelo and Amare are second tier stars and are just looking to pad their stats. They both play absolutely no defense what so ever. It's already tough enough that Lin's defense is horrible, but to have your 6'11" post player to just stand their while Tony Parker runs circles around the entire team then get lay ups is inexcusable.

This is pretty scary to see how life is without Chandler and Jeffries on the court.

Sorry i don't specifically pay attention to your posts. You can say what you want about Melo right now, and most of it may be true, but at the end of the day in order to win in the playoffs you need someone who can take over the game. Our roster without Melo gets to the playoffs and loses right now. With Melo you have a fighting chance when you get there. And i wasn't asking, you just instigated with a dumb response to try and make me feel stupid for commenting. Not sure what the point of that was.

I think that's a stupid excuse Melo jockers use to justify his wackness.

Melo murdered this team two times already in his first calendar year here.

First, he demanded, like a bitch, a trade that took something like 8 players off this team.

Then, he came back and destroyed the the team that went 8-1, with two of those 8 wins coming against Serious Top Dogs in the West.

Melo sucks as a basketball player.

I can partially agree with you, but you really think it's all on him? If that is the case, he hasn held Denver back every year he was there.
