Hate or legitimate criticism? How do you distinguish the two, Vmart?
Legit criticism normally doesn't need to be repeated endlessly. Hate goes on forever.
I don't think anyone wants to hate Melo. I for one want to be proven wrong about him. That being said, you cannot deny the consequences his actions bring to the team and its' swagger. Did you freakin' watch the Mavericks game? His body language was pathetic. His boneheaded inbound pass while talking smack was worse. It is not enough to simply be a scorer when you are a supposed Superstar. You need to lead by example...and lead your followers to the top...not to failure. You need to play defense when you are having an off night...you need to box out...you need to dive on the floor for loose balls...you need to play help D. He does none of it when "his" chips are down. That is a lack of CHARACTER. You cannot win without it.
He was out of character in the Mavericks' game, I will concede. But he was our best player in SA. He brought us back against BOS.
Harp on one game all you want but Melo is far from the biggest problem with this team. In fact, now that his jumpshot is falling, he isn't a problem at all.

That makes no sense. People criticized Isiah, Layden, Marbury forever. Your reasoning would mean that that criticism was wrong. Repetition is simply the nature of message board posting.
HEY EVIL:
How much more are you going to hate Melo when we give up our lottery pick to Houston this year?

That would be pure comedy in the vein of the isiah years.

I hope his jumper resembles yesterday's game...but isn't that only one game? LOL! Again...nobody is going to deny his offensive prowess...that isn't really the point.

He could get an infection and be out for a long time and with no contract it would be stupid. Thats not my concern but the Nets were all but willing to take him and Dolan panicked.
You do stupid things when you panic.
The Russian forced Little Jimmie to over pay. Nets got Jimmy to screw himself. Denver made out by creating a Market for melo. Knuggs and Knets freaking toyed with Jimmie.
If Dwight makes his way to Nets without a trade they have their picks, Dwight, Deron, either BroPez or Humphries (they can trade BroPez or let Hump walk) and a host of good role players to keep or use as trade bait.
Then Little Jimmie can panic.
Cuz the first one to win a chip will own the City. Many knick fans are don't go back to the 70's. Many grew up with them sucking and are open to bandwagon jumping.
Nets are insignificant but Im telling you guys, you put a good team in Brooklyn and watch little JImmy squirm.
ANd when Little Jimmy Squirs, he calls Isiah.....and when he calls Isiah.......Bad things happen.
Don't get cable!
Ehh, what about some good news?

Actually that iPod does not shut down. And if you own and use it it means that you are not one of the lame ppl always needing or the new hottest gadget
were the deepest team in the NBA and were still talking about melo aand amare
