Papabear Says
The Knicks keep turning the ball over and Lin is the main person. He has no vision on seeing where the defense is. We can't win this way.
I agree Lin needs to stop turning the ball over

Let's face it Lin is no longer under the radar.
Wheres Marbs?
I am sure he will find a way to slant this as all Melo's fault.
Melo deserves better. He deserves to play with a less chaotic team / atmosphere.
to be fair both lin and melo have their own problems that contribute to the teams loss. Nether guy deserves alll the blame but both deserve some blame

I thing the team's effort on defense isn't that good. I haven't heard any yet mention anything about Mike Woodson. I personally think he is doing a terrible job.
I think you guys are mistaking a few things here. If you have noticed when Lin was playing great it was a simple offense with simple players involved. No weaves no post ups, just chandler coming and setting up the pick and roll with other filling good spaces. Now you see weaves with no spacing, post ups with no isolation, and more intricate offensive sets. I agree he is making poor decisions but also there are no more openings like there was before with a simple offensive set. I think Dantoni is over thinking this one.
It ain't Melo's fault be he didn't do anything great either. It is on the PGs. But it is so more than that

I agree its more but cant be biased and say melo is the most innocent. but i agree there are a lot of problems

MDA? Over thinking? Is that possible? Did you know that Coach K asked MDA to help teach him how to run an offense? Did you know that MDA was a great coach in Europe? Did you know that Steve Nash is only Steve Nash because of ...
As long as it has nothing to do with the coach. I guess more time is needed or something.
Actually oty os Nelo's fault because he is the "star" and is counted on to pick the team up when it is down and slumping. To encourage players and lift theor spirits and to lead by example on both ends of the court
every possession.
Also, I think the Davis/Lin lineup is taking Lin out his game. It worked a little last game but that was late in the game when the other team was laxed. He needs to be on the court in pg/attack mode at all times not as a shooting guard because he is hesitant to shoot outside shots anyway.
What has Melo done since he got here??? I'm still waiting for the $100m man to make this team significantly better than we were before we got him. Lin been turning over the ball since he became starter, BUT..... He plays team ball and we were winning without Melo. I'm just saying.

thats a fair argument but you are gonna be killed as a hater for some reason. Look Melo is a very talented player but he just doesnt fit with amare in this system. now he would probably be much better somewhere else it just didnt work here
If we were winning we wouldn't even be talking about turnovers.

your point?

my point is, when our team loses, we start pointing fingers. Lin was averaging 5-6 TOs a game when we were on a winning streak but fans were forgiving because we were winning.

at some point that was gonna catch up to the team, and it kinda has. teams are adjusting and taking advantage of the TOs. knicks need to counter this: cut back on TOs, better decisions, shooting, D, something.

I have been saying this for awhile now. The offense we ran before is nothing like theo ne we run since Melo and Amare came back. The Linsanity off was one screen after another until a good one was found. This one is one fake screen then ISO to Amare or Melo, this got us to 7 games below .500 before the win streak. I want the offense to be the one we had during the win streak with melo and Amare taking the shots that Walker and JJ took. The problem is that they are "Stars" so they are to big to just be finishers they must ISO.

I don't blame him now. He's an unheralded rookie and if he is slumping, it's okay. We should have other ways to win when he is failing.

What if teams are taking away what Lin was doing now that they have gotten to watch him on tape? You should follow what the scouts and GM's are learning as we go.
