I think a bunch of clowns from Ringling Bros. Circus got left behind in the garden sometime around 2001. Since then, they have been living in the basement of the Garden, subsisting on hot dogs and sushi.

Ever since then they moved into the garden basement, they've been transmitting their evil rays and fucking up the Knicks chances. We gotta get rid of those damn clowns!
