MSG3 - thank you for the kind words. Just for kicks and giggles, let's add Mike Woodson's mantra of accountability to the serendippty-doo and rugged determination of Jeremy Lin.

How much you wanna bet Lin will be a better basketball player?

Better check yourself before you try to wreck The Answer Man.

Beat Cleveland.

Can u guys at least acknowledge that ANY coach needs the cooperation of his best player! There is no doubt that Woody benefitted from having Melo giving his all and eventually getting his game back. If Woody had been the coach from the start of the year who knows what his fate would've been. IMO Woody got the benefit of the usual coaching change bump and he also has done a great job keeping team focused. Still what made it all possible is Melo being behind him and changing his mental attitude. To deny this is disingenuous. Melo flipped like a light switch the day MDA left!

Magic Johnson turned on his love light the moment Westhead left. Does that make Magic a bad guy?

Nah.

The best coaches understand how to communicate, receive feedback and buy-in from their leaders. Isn't Carmelo a Captain?

Fuggedabout playing the silly "what if" game. Mike Woodson is exactly where he is supposed to be and we should give thanks that he is.

Carmelo Anthony has the freedom (with responsibility) to explore. He is being encouraged and challenged to seek his own level. Who knew that level could shock the house?

What a concept.

Everyone knows the NBA is a player's league. Ask Paul Westhead. Ask Flip Saunders. Ask Paul Westphal. Ask Stan Van Gundy now. Gotta keep your stars happy no matter what. Systems only work in 2 places: College and Euroleague

Lin will definitely improve a lot. Especially in the turnover and defense category. Everything else is practicfally there already. His J was good and his passing ability is great. I just hope they figure out a way to keep both Lin and Novak.

Grammar police. Not hardly. Except when an error is so blatant a third grader would catch it.

Failure to accept, and correct, a mistake is a tactic of losers. It's the same as blowing a defensive assignment.

Cherish the written word. Don't abuse it.

Beat Atlanta.

if we dont have to give Lin the whole midlevel then it is possible to keep novak.

Letting go of the past is never easy.

Carmelo Anthony is playing well during this 15-5. He wasn't during 18-24.

That's been infinitely more impactful than any public flogging of fringe Knick player.

EWwwww, Woodson almost has the same win total of MDA in half the games. That's embarassing!

There are Knicks fans that are embarrased to finish 7 or 8. Had Anthony applied himself earlier, perhaps the sight would be set on 3 or 4.

I wouldn't really debate that, unless you provide a player(s) in his replacement.

And I'm not quite sure that your statement effectively negates my contention that the Knicks may be higher seeded had Anthony played better, earlier.
