Nash won't even consider NY. He has no interest in running ISo plays for Melo.
Yeah, he wants to run Iso plays for D'wade.......Nash-Lin would be pretty-pretty good.
Hilarious how every champion team runs ISO's but Nash would rather lose for the rest of his career because he has no interest in ISO's. Jason Kidd can run ISO's with Dirk all game but Nash cant - hahaha - too funny.
What's funny is I don't even recognize the term "Iso", I'm old school and in my town we call those post ups and clear outs!!! I grew up before all this 7seconds or less Bullshit!!!!
But where is Nash going to go and not be running "iso's" if he wants to win??? Laughable indeed.

Washington with you know who ... that should win him a ring!
I really think that a slower game at his age would really help him. He is one of the smartest players I have ever seen and I still think a slower paced team can be a great match for him if he wants to play for another 2-3 years.

Don't mind these other guys, they'll defend anything resembling D'Antoni SSOL or bash Melo any chance they get. ISO's, triangles, high post ups, mid post up...this is all fundamental basketball. SSOL is a straight up gimmick and hasn't won anything in the league. Nash would blend in perfectly here if he wanted to play here.

This team really does have need for a point like Nash, at age 36-37. He's doesn't need to play alot of minutes, we have the scores for him to feed (Melo/Stat) and the Defenders who can cover for him(Shump/TChang).
I don't know how close he and stat are, but if we make a good showing in the playoffs, then why wouldn't he want to play here??? You see how many wide open shots that get turned down by Fields and Lin........ shooter like Nash wouldn't want those??
Anji wrote:I agree. Also, Nash lives in NYC in the offseason. Not too far of a reach to see him coming here. He will turn 39 next Feb. so he may want to try to sign on with the Heat for a final run.ChuckBuck wrote:mrKnickShot wrote:Anji wrote:mrKnickShot wrote:Anji wrote:loweyecue wrote:subzero0 wrote:ChuckBuck wrote:Knicks better go hard at Nash this offseason, before Miami signs him. I really don't get the opposition to going after Nash, knowing what we know now about Lin. Nash can run any type of set you wamt, halfcourt, run and gun whatever. THIS A HALL OF FAME POINT GUARD! He could do wonders for this team like how Kidd contributed with Dallas last year.
And what really irritates me is that once again the organisation treats us like 12yr old children, by with holding the information from us and lying about it severity- what exactly did they think we were going to do if they had just been honest and said he had a tear and was going to see if it responds after a week of rest? They always pointlessly lie about injuries.
Good luck with the surgery- hope they don't take any short cuts by removing the affected part to accelerate the recovery time, like they did with cp3.
I think management needs to make a decision regarding Bibby / Walker / Douglas soon, because with Davis' fragility we need more at PG than what Bibby and Douglas will bring. It would be amazing if Douglas could give us decent heavy minutes as backup but that's just wishful thinking. Do you ride Bibby as much as you can and pray for health? Do you waive him or Walker and get a PG from NBDL?
One way you could see this, when Walker comes back Shump spends most of his minutes at backup PG.
What a mess...

If they can somehow fight and claw their way to a higher seed, they might just hang in there long enough to get healthy. It's a longshot, but then it already was so ... One thing I like about this team is their toughness and the way they stick together. They've bonded very tightly as a team. It's the only way they'll survive this.despite the injuries teh team has been playing well. I think all those bad losses we had at the start might hurt us down this stretch
Also In New York Knicks
For winning locker room, players were definitely down - the ones who spoke. Lin's best friend, Landry Fields, left before we got in. You can see Carmelo Anthony wasn't in a good mood. He knows. Last year in playoffs, Stoudemire and Billups went down and they had no chance. Now it's Lin-Stoudemire. "It's tough,'' Anthony said. He really likes Lin. Told he thinks they can be Durant-Westbrook. Maybe next year. #Linsanity

Love the #7 swag with #17.
Difference between Lin and Westbrook is that Lin actually LIKES to pass.
#717 Future.

When Lin and Amare went back into the locker and missed out the entire 4th quarter, I knew something was up and I knew Lin was going to miss many weeks because of it.
This disproves any notion that you are/were a clown

Huh? It's a very minor thing. What other major flags have their been? Rubio's injury now that is a major flag, but still can be overcome.
The worst thing about this is most likely the timing of it.

Nope, it was supposed to be an arrow pointing down to my sig. But the three margaritas or so had the desired effect.

From Wikipedia:
After a successful surgery for treating the destroyed part of the meniscus patients must follow a rehabilitation program to have the best result. The rehabilitation following a meniscus surgery depends on whether the entire meniscus was removed or repaired. Although not clinically proven some people report better recovery after a period of oral intake of glucosamine-sulphate supplement.[dubious – discuss]
If the destroyed part of the meniscus was removed, patients can usually start walking using a crutch a day or two after surgery. Although each case is different, patients return to their normal activities on average after a few weeks (2 or 3). Still, completely normal walk will resume gradually and it's not unusual to take 2–3 months for the recovery to reach a level where a patient will walk totally smoothly. Many meniscectomy patients don't ever feel a 100% functional recovery, but even years after the procedure they sometimes feel tugging or tension in a part of their knee. There is little medical follow-up after meniscectomy and official medical documentation tends to ignore the imperfections and side-effects of this procedure.
If the meniscus was repaired the rehabilitation program that follows is a lot more intensive. After the surgery a hinged knee brace is sometimes placed on the patient. This brace allows controlled movement of the knee. The patient is encouraged to walk using crutches from the first day, and most of the times can put partial weight on the knee.
The time course varies with each patient. Starting from the second month the patient maybe able to walk freely and can also do various "low-impact" exercises (static bicycle, swimming, etc.), but should expect the knee to feel stiff and sore. If the rehabilitation was done properly the patient can gradually return back to "high-impact" activities (like running). However, "heavier activities", like running, skiing, basketball etc., generally any activities where knees bear sudden changes of the direction of movement can lead to repeated injuries. When planning sport activities it makes sense to consult a physical therapist and check how much impact the sport will have on the knee.

The part where it said it can take 2 to 3 months just to start walking smoothly stood out to me too. I don't think there's such a thing as a knee surgery that is "a very minor thing"

And this is just for the average person, not accounting for a pro athlete that has to continuously put strain on that knee.
