He sucked tonight
LOL Amare messed up his hand punching a wall or something. Where was all that emotion when you were on D?

And thats a problem when the defensive system depends on doubling & switching!!
The optimist in me says this is just a lost season for stat with health and personal issues
Next season he comes into camp healthy and in shape and returns to being dominant offensively because if he's not the defense is just way too painful to watch
Too many disadvantages; Tyson sick/recovering, Jeffries' hurt. Shump out. Amare still injured. Baron injured. Simply not going to happen this year. So our starting five is really a starting three. Next game Tyson will be closer to good. But that's about it.
And, oh, a misnamed shooting guard, if I ever saw one.

But still, this game was lost by New York, who now really believe they can't win and are going through the motions because they do look like they've given up. Their defensive intensity is nowhere near how it was weeks ago. The offense is a mess. Woodson is showing he isn't the guy to take this team where they supposedly want to be.
Yes the body language was bad. I think the team sensed that Melo had given up after being clobbered and mauled by the Heat and not getting any calls. And once the others saw that they knew it was over.
We will probably make a stand and win one game but the series is all but over.

Amare should be on the poster for hands down man down.
Woody said teams are not leaving Novak open. Just because your players don't see that he is open does not mean he is not open.
Damn Rangers lose 3-2 fml!!!

Amar'e should have punched LeBron or Wade with that hand, rather that punching walls and whatnot...
At the very least, he could have channeled that energy when taking free throws and going harder to the hoop.

I just heard on TNT that an ambulance was called for A'mare for his back problem. Can anyone confirm if I heard right?
TNT is actually saying there is no word on whether or not he will be ready for game 3...you have got to be kidding me.

didn't read anything about the back.. sounds like he just punched something like the glass part of the fire extinguisher and cut his hand.

some reporting he's out for the next game.
SNAKE. BIT.
...though the other things were bad luck and this was just stupidity.
Amare pulled a Kevin Brown.

1. They did their job now its time to do ours.
2. The heat won't beat us in our house.
3. We will make adjustments.
4. we have to protect homecourt.
Perfection!! Amare's exact words howdya do that?!
You playing? He really said everything I typed?
This time I'm not joking.
Melo just said in the post game? It's our turn now. We need to protect homecourt.

How do you keep going playing the minutes he played and getting pushed out of bounds under cut by two defenders, intentionally fouled at the end of the half, undercut while in the air, and raked over the arms every time you go strong without a call. Smith getting shoved by Wade for nothing, Novak getting held for nothing and etc. This is ridiculous and I am not the one to usually talk about the refs but when you barely breath on the other team and they get whistles what can you do.
Also add the dunk over Joel where Joel shoved Melo without the call. But it is what it is. Let's talk about the bad O.
