His presence will inspire this team let's bring it back to NY for game 6!
He couldnt get up the court against Chalmers healthy.
Alan Hahn said it best when someone tweeted him to say that it would be a shame if Lin didn't play and he responded by saying "More of a shame if he's ineffective".
absolutely agree 100% why throw him into the inferno when he's not ready?
I am conflicted. I am a huge Jeremy Lin fan and I want him to do what is best for him long term. I also am a bit of a romanticist. I would like to see a a great ending on Linsanity 2012. BUT...I would be OK either way. I am on wait and see.
Jeremy Lin will not come back in Game 5 because of these obvious reasons:
1. No team in NBA history has ever EVER EVER come back from an 0-3 deficit in the playoffs
2. Jeremy Lin has not been playing over a month, left alone never played in playoffs
3. Jeremy Lin needs to rest to heal from surgery. Too young to kill his future career for good.
4. Jeremy Lin is going to be a restricted free agent, why get back into the game for nothing ($800,000) compared what he will be making in future.
5. If he does come back in Game 5 (forced, for sure), I know somebody gotta take Jim Dolan and Kristin Dolan out of business.

Don't ever try to rationalize heart. The mind can't go there (even though I typed this post...)
If Lin can play he will play.
1. Linsanity never happened before, so point 1 is a goner.
2. Good point, but he doesn't have to be the savior. Melo and Stat are playing well. Lin is just another body out there and a bit more. I like Snyko's remarks. 15 minutes of Lin would help us.
3. He is and has been on a rehab program. If he is ready, he plays.
4. See heart comment. It isn't about money and he isn't playing on a bad injury. It's MINOR!
5. He can't be forced to do anything, ridiculous, that is the tabloids talking.
Funny now Steven A is on the radio pleading for Jeremy Lin to give him at least 15mins. That its been 5 weeks since the surgery. This after he & Kay wanted Lin benched for Baron Davis

yeah and this is the same Stephen A when D'Antoni resigned—was calling Lin a D-leaguer. And Kay is a clown who knows crap about the NBA.
Moot point. Hopefully see him the second round.

<--that's a positive smiley, not sarcasm.
Knicks leaked it to media it was under consideration as a way of getting exposure raising the brand awareness.
Standard practice.
Media just needs crap to talk about.
How can anyone assume his effectivness given his time out EVEN if he was healthy?
