Knicks · The Cavs really did us in (page 1)

Hate to bring it up again but that game pretty much sealed our fate. I was more pissed that night than i am now to be honest. The lack of effort that night was worse than tonight. Hopefully next year this team can play a whole year well and get into at least the top 3 or 4

They had to go on a great run to make the playoffs. They clinched and let for one night and it did hurt them. However, 18-24 buried them. If D'Antoni resigns a week or two or three earlier the Knicks are still in the playoffs.

I just wish they will never, EVER! take any game for granted, no matter how weak the opponent is. Cause it will really bite their rear in the end. Every game counts.

MDA did not coach them that night. Woodson did.

The team let woodson down. MDA did not suite up that game or play.

Great thread.

Rehash it over and over again.

The team took care of business by moving from MDA. In fact the fact they had a good experienced replacement on the bench is to be applauded.

The decision to move forward had already been made, the buy in from the star players were already in place and the team just freaking mailed it in. They gave up. Weak and soft.

it was pathetic.

Its pathetic to go back and blame MDA with that kind of loser mindset. Fans always looking at excuses. Fans should hold their superheros more accountable to fulfill their jobs they way they should.

I don't mind getting defeated by a better team or one that is playing harder but our guys had a very important game to win. They were in a position to possibly advance and they mailed it in.

That was awful.

This is why Meloball is not a good long term solution.

The Cavs game hurt but they were a ton of losses that we shouldn't have had prior to that lose that really did us in.

The Cavs did everyone in when they failed to realize LeBron was leaving and let him form the Superfriends down on South Beach.
