I'm surprised this hasnt been discussed more. You see teams like Miami...especially last summer. They were maxed out but somehow still had room to sign battier, turiaf...and some other small pieces. How did they do it? Restructuring Lebron and DWade.
If we want to be a better team we need some solid FA's. The only way we will have room is to go to Amare, Tyson and Melo and restructure their contracts...Can anyone tell me is this possible?

It has been discussed.
I believe that under the new CBA, players are not allowed to restructure their contracts.
Uhh, when did LeBron or Wade restructure their contracts last summer?
Hint: they didn't. They signed for less from the getgo in 2010.

Or that Tyson's contract costs us our Amnesty which nobody wants to admit.
restructuring deals is impossible unless teams are under the cap. and bron and wade didn't restructure, they took less from the get go.

Under the new cba dels can only be restructured when its time fir a contract extension. So we are looking at 3 yrs from now with Amare/Melo/Tyson. Buy then they will be old and broken down and we wont want to extend them.
