Anyone hoping Chandler and Melo dont make the team "Although CHandler may be a lock". This Knick team is already going to be depth starved next season. I really dont want to see either injured. If Melo gets left off the squad maybe the shot to his ego will put him on a mission to dominate in for the 2012-13 season
Winning the Olympics is more important than how the Knicks play. I want the US to own basketball still. So I definitely want Tyson to play. That would make the Olympics much more funner anyway. Melo can do the nation a favor and sit it out!
I still think Melo should be on the team although it may not be whats best for Knicks. Throw up the best roster if u want as well

That roster has plenty of much more efficient scoring. They don't need Melo or Deron. Bosh adds nothing either.

Bosh fits the International style well. He can hit an outside jumper and play the 5. Much better fit then Blake Griffin. Also no ALdrige and Howard because of injuries

U could put your own roster up. Remember no Dwight Howard or Aldrige. The other options are Amare, Cousins and Blake Griffin. Bosh fits the international game better then Griffin

Stars are on the olympics.
It helps his branding and further validates the starphuch.
IM sure he and MDA will get along just fine. Both have reputations to maintain.
I only watch swimming in the Summer Games, and maybe the gold medal game for hoops.

I think Melo is a lock to make the team. I know there was speculation by some that he would be left off of the team because D'Antoni resigned after requesting the Knicks trade him but I don't see that. Melo was a beast in April and is one of the top players in the league.
I think Melo should go to the Olympics because we need a different coach for Team USA, and Melo has proven that he can get D'Antoni to resign.
I think they should approach this carefully. Thin line between playing and injured. Guys had injuries, do they need rest? If not go ahead. USA ball is always fun.
I think Melo goes and Tyson. The next games are in 2016 and both guys may have age out by that point. This is Coach K's last run. It will be interesting if D'Antoni is named as his successor as was rumored several years ago.
