I love the x&os of the game. Even a simple play like the pick & roll can become complex in whento run and how to defend it.

My question is: what exactly is a mike woodson offense? Last yr they were basically running isos and the pda pnr offense. Next yr with a full off season to put in plays: what should we expect? In atlanta i remember a lot of jjohnson isolations and 1-4hi-low plays with horford and smith

I think we will only find out what his offense is until after training camp.

Whatever you saw he did when he was in Atlanta and now Knicks. That's it. Coaches have their own style and preference in coaching. It's not like they are suddenly gonna change.

You are not a basketball geek until you read at least one of Berri's books. Or maybe dork is the word I'm looking for.

Woody wasn't going to tear up 's playbook in the middle of a lockout season. He essentially ran the same offense but modified it to let Melo get the ball from the elbow to the arc. Typically that play won't work in 's offense because it limits the effectiveness of the PnR

This past season we say that Woodson's offense is really very complex and difficult to understand. It's way over my head. But I'm pretty sure it involves Carmelo Anthony and a basketball.
